So every new generation delivers higher performance and efficiency in response to maturing reservoirs and increasingly complex fluid and gas mixtures.

The package can be either fully integrated or customized to meet specific operational requirements. In both cases, the modularized design ensures complete factory testing and assembly before delivery, and all designs minimize height

and weight, which are crucial factors for transport to remote sites and harsh environments.

We also offer an independent modular version – the core package without piping and auxiliaries – that can be easily put into an existing floor plan or simply to give customers greater flexibility and control over site civil works, installation procedures and costs.

Every configuration of LandSmart* incorporates key attributes from our successful SeaSmart program along with valuable operating feedback from our pipeline customers’ day-to-day production experience. Development covers everything from the operating implications of different well fluid mixtures to specific objectives for power, mechanical drive, emissions and maintenance — any conceivable aspect can be introduced.

The LandSmart* package has the highest level of integration yet. It can be completely pre-assembled in our factory with unparalleled quality metrics that facilitate faster on-site installation and commissioning – typically less than 10 weeks. The optimized design has fully integrated auxiliaries and compact on-skid controls to greatly simplify integration into your existing plant layout.

It also delivers higher availability and long-term efficiency through a wide range of enhancements including expanded use of advanced composite materials, new modular maintenance features and our latest real-time diagnostics

capabilities. These advantages are all amplified with a wider range of customization options to improve overall operability and performance for each installation’s unique demands.

Designed for any site

Faster installationThe complete package is designed for all environments and optimized for both operability and maintenance performance. The fully integrated unit cuts installation time by about 30%. Everything is pre-assembled, factory tested and verified before delivery — including all electronics, controls, other auxiliary skids and the centrifugal compressor.

Better fit LandSmart* is compactly designed for easier transportation to the final site destination. The gas turbine package is just 11.2 m long x 3.5 m wide x 3.9 m high, and the compressor skid measures just 8.5 m long x 3.8 m wide x 3.5 m high. The innovative inlet design, advanced composite materials, and overall system integration were key factors in achieving such small dimensions and weight reductions up to 45 tons on the GT package.

FlexibilityWith our flexible option, the centrifugal compressor can be installed either on concrete or on a dedicated lightweight baseplate with a separate mineral oil console to enhance cost flexibility and access to local installation capabilities. This approach enables the highest levels of maintainability and availability, while enabling more ‘pick-and-play’ customization options to suit each customer’s needs.

LandSmart* continually evolves to deliver bigger things in smaller and smarter packages. As we carry each generation’s strongest design traits forward, we also inject our latest rigorously tested and proven technologies so that maintainability, availability and performance keep improving too.

The latest package significantly reduces and simplifies maintenance requirements through a variety of features like 4H lock-out; 8k BSI; fast turbine exchange, high-flow on-line water washing, electric starting, as well as improvements in ergonomics and safety. Advanced composite materials increase durability and operating efficiency through minimized vibration, power consumption and other advantages.

Improved flowThe enhanced inlet plenum design achieves smoother air suction with less turbulence for overall optimized flow. It is built with composite materials for significant weight reduction, and is fully compatible with existing GT inlet intakes.

On-line washingThis system provides one-minute daily wash cycles to maintain the compressor for optimized efficiency.

Electric startingThis system increases gas turbine flexibility for BSI and hot shutdowns, eliminating the need for slow-turning device.

Enhanced modularizationThe modular design makes all maintenance and upgrade procedures much faster and simpler, as well as improving customization opportunities. Advances are readily seen in the optimized turbine enclosure that enables faster, easier access for regular maintenance, turbine replacement and upgrades as technologies advance.

Fully integrated systemsLandSmart* brings the idea of integration to a whole new level. Synthetic oil system, mineral oil system, starting system and remote I/O are all on skid. The benefits are widespread throughout installation, right down to the final details of commissioning with 60% less cable laying and 40% less interconnecting piping.

Configuration flexibilityFlexibility and assembly lead-time are both optimized with a standard design that accommodates various configurations and options. The package can include either a 30-34 MW PGT25+/+G4, each with two configurations to choose from. Then, there are six value-adding options available:

GDX filter house & inlet systemOur new GT Inlet System configuration can accommodate any type of air filtration system with minimal variations on balance of plant (BOP), greatly improving overall system standardization.

Pre-engineered configurations are available for static (even EPA grade) and self-cleaning systems (both horizontal and vertical flow).

The overall system length has been reduced – the compact arrangement can even be accommodated inside a building.

The new configuration needs only a four-columns structure to support the inlet, exhaust and ventilation systems.

PCL centrifugal compressorThe LandSmart* turbine module is designed for direct coupling to our latest generation of PCL pipeline compressors featuring high-performance stages and efficiency of 89% or higher. A dedicated stage technology increases efficiency and operating range, while new pipe routing and casing design improves accessibility for maintenance. Casing size and number of impellers are matched to optimize performance in terms of efficiency, compression ratio and operating range. Compressor casings are made of forged steel to provide maximum material strength and metallurgical stability. Vibration-free operation is assured by positioning bearings at both casing ends to provide the necessary rigidity to the rotor. Dry gas seals are normally used to prevent gas leakage.

PGT25+/+G4Choose between a 30 and 34 MW gas turbine consisting of an enhanced LM2500+/+G4 gas generator coupled with a two-stage, high-speed power turbine module. It delivers high efficiency and reliability, fuel flexibility and low emissions, and power increases of 10–20% across a wide range of ISO conditions. The turbine’s 6,100 rpm design enables direct coupling with driven equipment to improve overall efficiency and availability. Blade and stationary vane airfoil adjustments increase mass flow in the gas generator. The HPT has blade cooling improvements and material upgrades for higher temperatures, while rotor thrust balance has been optimized through changes to the compressor discharge pressure seal. For DLE applications, upgraded combustor heat shields enable field replacement and easier maintenance. Both turbines can be offered in SAC and DLE versions, and the PGT25+DLE can deliver 15ppmv NOx at 15% O2.
