Implemented from 2009, within only two years, Cidade Legal
program has already regularized over 100 thousand housing
units and celebrates significant results:
From the 645 São Paulo State cities, 422 are already members,

SOCIAL REPERCUSSION
The set of measures adopted to represent the
program, its visual identity, the standardized technical material,
the multidisciplinary technical team, the dynamic character and
their experiences and results really echoed at the communities
which, through associations, are actively participating in the
regularization processes.
PUBLIC REPERCUSSION
Given its efficacy and organization, it went beyond
expectations, being welcomed and being worthy of the
respectability of the Legal, Judicial and Executive Branches, as
well as the civil society.
With that, a non-partisan public policy was
developed which, if nicely conducted, may, within one decade,
solve the problems and conflicts of the São Paulo State land
regularization.
