    IGNITION SWITCHIgnition SwitchThe switchhas our key positions.PARK - Side ights,key removable, teeringock.To selecthis position,pressnterlockbutton A.STOP - Steeringock, key removable.MAR - Ignitionand accessoriesnergised.AVV - Starting.

    Steering Wheel LockEngagement:With the ignition key at STOP or PARK, turn thesteeringwheel n either direction until you hear a locking "click".Disengagement:This is facilitated by turning slightly the steer-ing wheel back and forth while turning the ignition key to MAR.

The following indicate a malfunction:- When the engine s hot, the oil pressure emains under 3.5bar (51 psi) at high engine revs (above 5,000 rpm).- When the engine s cold or at average emperatures, he oilpressure s higher than 4.5 bar (65 psi) even at low enginerevs (under 2,000 rpm).

    Side ight failure: when the side ights are swit-ched on. the indicator located at the front ofthe car on the check panel goeson (a bulb hasburned out or the circuit is open).Rear/number plate light failure: when the sideIights are switched on, the indicator located atthe back of the car on the check panel goeson(a bulb has burned out or the circuit is open).Failure of both the side lights caused by bothside light fuses blowing is not shown by thecheck panel. Therefore, the side lights shouldbe periodically checked to ensure hey are func-tioning properly.The two diagonal indicator lights will go on ifthe fuse for this circuit has blown in additionto the two bulbs, or if the circuit is open.

    Stop light failure: the panel ight at the back ofthe car will go on. If a bulb is burned out orif the circuit is open, the indicator light will onabout two secondsafter depressing he brakepedal.If both stop light bulbs haveburned out, if thecircuit is open, or if a fuse hasblown, both in -dicators light remain on or go on without press-ing the brake pedal.Stop light switch failure: if the stop lights donot go on for this reason, both panel indicatorlights at the rear of the car will go on 2 secondsafter the brake pedal has been presseddown.If switch failure does not cause brake lightfailure, both indicator lights will go on (or willremain on); they will turn off when the brakepedal is depressed.

    Rear fog light failure: when the rear fog lightsare switched on, if the panel ndicator lights goeson it means that one or both of the bulbs areburned out or the circuit is open betweenthefuse and the bulb.If another fusesblows before the rear fog lightor the circuit is open before reaching his fuse,the indicator lieht@does not go on.

    Air volume and distribution is automatic depending on thetemperature you have set (indicator will indicate the functionoperating). The systemprovides only heating or fresh air whenduring economy operation.
