Incursions Thank you to Mrs Skoglund and Mrs Temby for organising the three wonderful incursions that have occurred in the

last week and have given your children a huge variety of learning experiences. World of Maths visited on Friday

and it was wonderful to see all the students engaged and working cooperatively in a wide variety of problem

solving activities. Mike Mathews, the WoM presenter, asked me to also thank the students for showing exemplary

behaviour. Thanks to the parents and grandparents who came and assisted on the day. Your help is very much

appreciated. On Tuesday the Scientastic incursion entertained the students while teaching them about the various

forms of matter. Students were highly engaged and there was raucous laughter emanating from the music room.

On Wednesday Julie, Frank and Donna from Bunnings came to work with the students. Our younger students

honed their woodworking skills making trucks and spice racks, while our older students worked really hard setting

up the frog pond and weeding and replanting. What wonderful learning opportunities for our students! A huge

thank you to all those involved.
