FORMICA® Velour is a matt finish that delivers a clean and modern look. The most popular finish in the Formica range, Velour is suitable for all situations.

FORMICA® Etchings is a dynamic surface featuring a softly polished and textured feel. Achieved through gentle accents of dappled highlights and tiny fractures, it is reminiscent of the finish found in natural stones and granite.

FORMICA® Honed features a low sheen satin finish, with subtle surface clefts and crevices that mimic softly brushed stone.

FORMICA® Riverwash™ Low-lustre Riverwash™ lends its soft patina and dual gloss texture to Quarstone and Granite patterns, as well as designs inspired by man-made materials.

FORMICA® Naturelle™ Clean and simple, our Naturelle™ finish has a dry-wax appearance and an embossed “ticking” texture that imparts a realistic grain effect. Naturelle is ideal for any surface where you desire the character of wood, but need the easy-care attributes of laminate. Recommended for light-duty horizontal and vertical interior applications.

FORMICA® AR+ (GlossPlus™) is a superior high gloss laminate. With greater abrasion and scuff resistance, horizontal surfaces will maintain their shine over standard gloss laminates. The 26 stunning AR+ colours are part of the Formica Colour Range so creating beautiful colour schemes is easy.

Popular benchtop profiles

Rolled edge. Formica laminate can be rolled to a radius of 10mm for solid colours and 6mm for stones, abstract patterns and woodgrains. Very cost effective, rolled edge is popular for kitchen benchtops.

Square edge profile is made by clashing the benchtop edge with a piece of the same laminate to create a true square edge.

Acrylic edgetape is available to match any of the colours from the Formica 180fx range. Complementing the high gloss stone decors, acrylic edgetape creates a greater depth of colour. The durable, sleek, square edge finish creates the realistic look of a stone slab.
