Strategies implemented to improve student success and rankings • Viewing the undergraduate student experience holistically: I implemented major-specific

advising to address the needs of students in 12 (soon to be 14) majors and 10 minors. I also helped launch the Center for Student Success integrating co-curricular activities and extra-curricular experiences aimed at developing well-rounded graduates with critical thinking, analytical and soft skills.

• Reimagining the masters experience: I played a key role in moving the MBA program from Norman to Oklahoma City; redesigned the fulltime MBA curriculum to include three significant experiential components; and redesigned the professional MBA curriculum to include a leadership academy along with an out-of-state field visit.

• Focusing on inclusive excellence: I advocated and helped create a more inclusive and diverse learning community, including serving as the Interim Director of the Price College’s Office of Diversity & Inclusion.

Leading the MIS Division • Earlier, during my tenure as Director, the MIS program was ranked in the Top 20 undergraduate

programs (four times by US News) and MIS research productivity among the Top 20 worldwide. • I hired and mentored new faculty; supported research activities; and successfully championed

faculty for university and statewide honors. • I helped raise private funds of about $2 million through corporate and individual donations. • The MS in MIT received STEM-certification—the first business program in the College to do so. • As the Executive Director of the Center for MIS Studies, a public-private partnership,

membership grew to its highest level and included 25 businesses and governmental organizations. My research has been published in all three of the top journals in MIS; I have served on 28 dissertation committees at three different universities, including as chair on seven; and, my Google Scholar Citations are 4,361 (leading the MIS Division). I am the founding executive editor of the e-Service Journal, launched in 2001. In 2019, I was inducted by the Association for Information Systems as an AIS Distinguished Member – Cum Laude to the inaugural class. My teaching includes undergraduate, masters, doctoral and executive courses, and over the course of my career at three different universities, I have received nine teaching awards, including those voted on by students.

Existing Programs Redesigned:

• Redesigned the fulltime MBA (FTMBA) curriculum to add three significant experiential components—a required study-abroad experience, a business consulting practicum and an applied field project. Fulltime MBA students reported higher starting salaries (average of $81,114) and higher signing bonuses (average of $9,143) across a more diverse range of industries.

• Implemented a Leadership Academy for Professional MBA students to develop leadership skills; includes an out-of-state field visit to interact with business leaders.

• Revised the JD-MBA program (in conjunction with the College of Law) to enable students to complete the joint-degree in three years, instead of four.

• Revised the Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering-MBA program (in conjunction with the Mewbourne College of Earth & Energy) from sequential to simultaneous.

• Revised the Bachelor of Industrial & Systems Engineering-MBA program (in conjunction with the Gallogly College of Engineering) from sequential to simultaneous.

• Coordinated revisions to various masters’ offerings, including: the graduate certificate in the business of energy, finance, digital technologies, the MS in MIT, and the accelerated BBA-MIS + MS in MIT.

Undergraduate Program

I oversaw the comprehensive redesign of academic advising and helped design and launch the Center for Student Success aimed at preparing well-rounded business majors. These changes have resulted in higher starting salaries $54,919 (a 3.14% increase from last year) and better overall metrics (75% accepting a job and 13% pursuing graduate education). Estimated business-specific fee revenues exceed $5 million annually. Program Innovations: • Designed and helped launch the Center for Student Success integrating co-curricular

activities and extra-curricular experiences in Price College; closely worked with the Executive Director to oversee the implementation of the Price Passport to Success
