ABOUT THE SEAWOLF

The SEAWOLF is an aircraft of conventional riveted aluminumconstruction with particular attention paid to its role as a boat-hulled amphibian. It has a watertight hull designed to operateefficiently in the air as well as in the water. In the sealed hull arefive (5) separate watertight compartments constructed of heavygauge aluminum skins and bulkheads for strength. This 28-foot(8.6 meter) boat is capable of withstanding countless landings inopen water at speeds of 50 to 60 knots. The strakes on thebottom of the hull add strength, facilitate transition fromdisplacement to the step and enhance maneuverability whilestep-taxiing. The deep "V" of the hull allows the SEAWOLF tooperate effectively in rough water.

The SEAWOLF is not a landplane converted to seaplane use, butis designed and built as an amphibian from the ground up. Everypart is alodined or custom coated, then primed prior toassembly.

• Short Take-Off and Landing Capabilities• The SEAWOLF offers exceptional short field/small water

performance. • The boat shaped hull allows for circular take-offs and

landings.• The SEAWOLF can be easily and quickly disassembled and

loaded onto a transport aircraft or ship for special rapid deployment to distant theaters of operation.

HISTORY

Lake Amphibians come from the successful design teams of RepublicAircraft and Grumman Corporation. With origins rooted in suchgreat amphibious aircraft as the Goose, Widgeon, Mallard, andAlbatross, our company flew our first model (Skimmer) in early 1948.The Skimmer was subsequently FAA certified in 1955 as the first in aseries of successful boat hulled amphibious aircraft.

In the ensuing years, new improved models with higher horsepowerand increased seating capacity were introduced, each building onthe success of the previous model.

The SEAWOLF is the 7th generation of this proud line of amphibiousaircraft.
