products during manufacture to provide an
extra level of hygiene. This provides added
antibacterial protection for the products,
preventing the growth of harmful micro-
organisms such as bacteria, mould and mildew.

facilities has benefited from our manufacturing experience
and capabilities in R&D and product design. These solutions
are based on sound ergonomic and design principles,
quality materials, efficient function and comprehensive
testing.
Our high quality products are manufactured with the greatest
care to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 (Quality management),
DIN EN ISO 14001:2009 (Environmental management),
BS OHSAS 1801:2007 (Occupational health and safety
management).
Stainless steel: Laidlaw uses in the standard programme
the high-quality stainless steel 1.4401 (A4 – AISI 316)
according to DIN 17440 with 17% chromium, 12% nickel
and 2% molybdenum. This outstanding austenitic stainless
steel has an especially high resistance to corrosion, wear
and abrasion because of the molybdenum additive. The
chromium – nickel – molybdenum steel used by Laidlaw can
be used in nearly all areas as well with frequent and high
strain as in stressed surroundings.
Aluminium powder coated products (cavere®) have a
smooth, easy to clean surface with high resis tance to
atmospheric influences. Further features are its strength and
its low weight.
Nylon : The excellent properties of polyamide have lead to
a wide use in all areas of everyday life and technology (300
and 400 Series).
The products have
– Smooth and brilliant surface with exceptionally high
resistance to abrasion
– Coloured throughout
– High resistance to most solvents, chemicals, cleansing
agents and disinfectants and always have a pleasant
temperature to the touch.
For comparison we have indicated the most similar colour numbers of the NCS (Natural-Colour-System),
RAL-DS (RAL-Design-System) and RAL (RAL Colour Register 841-GL).
