Lagos Datacenter Thank you for taking interest in Lagos

Datacenter. Nigeria’s newest TIER III /

TIER IV Datacenter will be built at

Agbara Real Estate, Ogun State (32

kilometer from Lagos) and brings a

whole new class of cloud services to

Nigeria.

Layout and Location TIER III / IV Lagos Datacenter integrates

place the facility at the forefront of

environmental efficiency. Advanced and

efficient by design, Lagos Datacenter

provides fully resilient power and cooling

capacity of up to 20MW, unparalleled

choice of networks, industry leading

operational expertise and convenient

location.

General Layout

Lagos Datacenter has an maximum floor space of 8000m2. Because it is

modular build we can deliver 13 modulesof 320m2 which is 160 racks.



Investors Lagos Datacenter is build and managed

by several technology and business

partners.

As an result Lagos Datacenter will be

part of the new Agbara Technology

Center.

Why Agbara Agbara is 32 km far from the center of

Lagos. Lagos is known to be vulnerable

for floods and is close by sea. Agbara is

an new industrial area where big

companies are starting. Unilever, Nestle

and several others will put their factories

here.

Agbara also has a good infrastructure.

There is gas, good accessibility, security,

new 10 lane highway.

Interconnection trough dark fiber and

other major ISP’s is ready. Lagos Datacenter will host multiple

international Internet Exchange Points in

Agbara.



Policies and procedures Lagos Datacenter will feature staff fully

trained in policy, procedures, and

standards for security and working in an

active data center using the following

policies and procedures:

Customers must sign-in/out themselves and equipment

Customer/Vendors/Lagos Datacenter staff sign-off on Data

Center procedures and acceptable use

Gives knowledge about critical systems in computer room

Prevents errors, abuse, and encourages good work habits

Any work affecting operations must have a MAP (Methods & Procedures) plan

design means its infrastructure can scale

UPS with built-in 2N redundancy

Power control modules configured 2N Battery supply works if any batteries fail PDUs with circuit breakers to each rack Remote daily monitoring of UPS and PDUs Remote power control of each outlet Automatic bypass if components fail Manual bypass available for maintenance Hot swap maintenance (batteries, control)

The power supply consists of N+1 gas

driven generators and N+1 standby

diesel generators, which is needed for the TIER III level of Lagos Datacenter

To decrease power consumption for

Lagos Datacenter, the cooling system will

be designed as a chilled water

infrastructure for high efficient cooling

throughout the modular datacenter.

Fire Prevention

Lagos Datacenter features sophisticated

mediums to prevent any fire outbreak

with the fire detection and suppression

technologies. This includes three-stage

gas system, which are linked to Building

Management Systems (BMS) and

monitored continuously from the network

operations center. Lagos Datacenter features:

Redundant and independent fire systems Three stage FM200 gas system

Stage 1, one smoke detector, rings alarm

Stage 2, two smoke detectors, strobe alarm and 30 second countdown Stage 3, gas system discharges

Includes override and reset buttons Detects at ceiling and below raised floor

Two stage pre-action sprinkler system

Stage 1: two smoke detectors or one

heat detector (135 F), fills water pipes Stage 2: Heat (155 F) discharges water
