Message from the Vice Chancellor, UAF Chairman, Lab School and College System
Laboratory School & College System welcome all parents and students in its prestigious
educational zone. It endows with a happy, vibrant and conducive learning environment. We
create an atmosphere where the students feel valued and secured. It proffers an educational
experience which is both challenging and stimulating.
Message from the Principal Officer
It is a great honour and privilege for me to head and reshape Loboratory School and College
System. This school is a perquisite to the community of Faisalabad.
It was my cherished desire to develop an environment, for students‘ learning needs, to be
firmed up and develop into an unparalleled educational complex in Pakistan.
INTRODUCTION: Laboratory School and College System
Laboratory School System, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad was set up in 1966 by honorable Ex-Education
Minister, Khan Mohammed Ali Khan under the supervision of Dr. Zafar Ali Hashmi, Ex Vice Chancellor.
Consequently Laboratory Junior School came into being in April 1969; Lab Girls High School started in 1979.
LSS has now been upgraded into Laboratory School & College System by our worthy Vice Chancellor /Chairman
of LSCS in 2012.
Due to great avalanche of students, now this school system is a complex of eight different sections
working in five distinct campuses, imparting education up to intermediate classes using English as a medium of
instruction.
PARS Campus emerged another successful academic community in the territory of U.A.F in 2010
inaugurated by Worthy Vice Chancellor/ Chairman LSCS Professor Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan. It flourished leaps
and bounds due to hard strife and the collaboration of the governing body and faculty. LSCS feeling great pride
to take and initiative in this regard by launching O/A Level and Inter programs at PARS. Hopefully it will open
new horizons of success and glory in the existing flourished and superior academic scenario.

Junior Laboratory School
It was established in April 1967 by Dr. Zafar Ali Hashmi, Ex-Vice Chancellor of UAF. We
are running a well reputable school from Play Group to Fifth Standard in English Medium.
We have a large play field, a foundation stage, outdoor play area, large tarmac area for
physical activities including play times and safe sheltered area for young children.

PARS campus opened its doors in 2010. It was inaugurated by Worthy Vice Chancellor/
Chairman LSCS Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmed Khan. It is situated on Airport Chowk, Jhang Road. PARS Campus
is the embodiment of staunch belief of our worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmed khan that
education is the best investment for up lifting the standard of periphery of Faisalabad.With highly
qualified and well experienced staff, we give our students the tools they need to grow into competent,
skilled and self-assured professionals.

It is an immense pleasure to share success story of the Lab. School and College
System.MinahilAslam topped the Board among girls by securing 1062/1100 in BISE, 2014 Science group. She received Rs.10,000 from the worthy Vice chancellor, UAF and 20000/- from honorable chief guest in BISE as a reward for her brilliant academic performance.Like wiseMore than 25 students showed up to 90% marks in BISE 2014 in Science Group.
It is an enormous felicity to quantum that MinahilAslam received 4 Lac as reward from the respected Chief Minister of Punjab (MuhammadShehbaz Sharif). To continue the appreciation anecdote she got 3 Lac from the Punjab Colleges as well.
Lab institutions of UAF have always shown remarkable distinctions at each level. Ayesha Asif receivedthe 3rd position in PEC 2014 at primary level.
It is a prodigious glee to share again the outstanding result of the Lab.
School and College System. The School has shown an exceptional result in
matriculation Board Examination 2015. More than 31 students have received
1000+ marks among Girls and Boys. Our two most accomplished students are up
to the mark. FATIMA MEHMOOD (Science Group) has got overall 2nd Position
in Board exams by securing 1076/1100. She receivedRs. 15000/- from honorable
Chief Guest. KHADIJA BIBI has got 3rd position in Board (Arts Groups) by
securing 1015/1100. She received Rs. 10000/- from respectable Chief Guest

can produce qualitative and quantitative results for the production of real
human intellectual for the country. The School examination system is divided
into two forms

Non-Formal Examination
a) A Monthly test programme conducted by the subject teacher at the end of every
month.
b) Class test/surprise test programme arranged by the class incharge or Heads.
c) Mock exams for 9th& 10th classes conducted in the 1st week of January every year.
PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION (A regular feature of LSCS)
LSCS always welcomes feasible suggestions from parents. For this purpose the meetings of the mentioned association are quarterly held to facilitate the exchange of views between the staff members and parents.
Examination System of Laboratory School and College System
The System is running successfully in order to create awareness among the
students to abide by the rules and regulations implemented by the Govt. /
University of Agriculture, Faisalabad a Prefect system has been introduced
in the LSCS. This practice has been in progress since 1993.

There are well furnished and equipped science
laboratories and Computer laboratory inall LSCS campuses.

Computer and Home Economics Labs
LSCS keeps the state of the art with well-equipped science Laboratories. These laboratories facilitate the teaching of science and help in practical demonstration of Physics, Chemistry and Biology experiments for students. In LSCS, Computer education has become core knowledge for all classes to meet the requirement of the day.
A well-equipped Home Economics Lab is present to facilitate the students for cooking practical.
LSCS LIBRARIES
LSCS has a well established library equipped with fiction, non-fiction,
daily newspaper and magazine. The LSCS administration spends handsome
budget every year to buy new books to keep the library up to date with a
comprehensive syllabus based and career oriented collection.

I. Admission
New admission will be started from first week of April.
Admission in 6th and 9th Class will be given on the basis of Govt. Exams.
(Exams conducted by the Govt. sector.)
A student can be admitted during the academic year on special basis, i.e.
transfer of the Govt. servant etc.
In Class 6th preference will be given to those students who passed their
5th Class from Junior Laboratory School, University of Agriculture,
Faisalabad. Others will be considered on the base of availability of seats.
Candidates who want to seek admission in this school, will have to qualify
written test.(Pre-admission test)
Relaxation in admission will be given to those candidates who have got
any good position (distinction) in curricular or co-curricular activities at
district or divisional level etc. However, they will also have to qualify the
pre-admission test.
Those students, who have passed their 9th Class examination from other
Boards, should submit No objection certificate (N.O.C.) issued by the
previous board.
After getting admission all dues will have to deposit within five days,
otherwise admission will be considered as cancelled.
If a student migrates from any other school to this school within the
boundary of district / city Faisalabad, he/ she will submit his/her school
leaving certificate duly signed by the District Education officer.
No admission fee will be charged from the children of Govt. employees
(in transfer cases) during the academic session.
A student seeking admission during the year will have to deposit the
school fee w.e.f. April.
Framework of Management
II. Re-Admission
A Regular period for re-admission is one month.
A student, who wants to seek re-admission, he/she will have to pay
Rs.2000/- in this connection.
III. Leave procedure
Leave application will not be considered without the recommendation of
parents/guardians.
Five rupees will be fined per day for each absence.
If a student remains absent continuously for six days, his/her name will
be struck off.
In case of emergency the student will have to submit leave application to
the Head of the school duly signed by the parent/guardians and
recommended by the class in-charge.
Leave on medical grounds will only be granted after the submission of a
medical certificate issued by the Medical Officer.
V. Medical Facility
In an emergency the students can avail the medical facilities from the
University students Dispensary under the Supervision of School PTI.
VI. Library Rules
The student can draw only one book at a time.
The student can keep the book for a week and renew it again for the
next week.
In case of loss or damage of library book, the student has to manage to
deposit the same book in the library.
The students should observe silence in the library.
VII. School Leaving Certificate
The students, who want the school leaving certificate, will apply to the
Head of the school in writing / signed by his/her parents/guardians.
School leaving certificate will be issued on the clearance of other
outstanding school dues.
VIII. School Dues
All school dues will be deposited in NBP/HBL university branch on the
date notified by the school.
School fee will be received on quarterly basis i.e. 4 quarter/annum.
School fee will be deposited according to the schedule given by the
concerned bank.
A regular period for payment of school fee is one week.
A student who will not pay the fee in time, his/her name will be struck off
after the due date.
The name of the student will be struck off from the roll due to
i. Non-payment of school dues.
ii. Remaining absent from the class consecutively for six days.
iii. If for some reason, the re-admitted student’s name is struck off
again from the school rolls, his/her admission may be refused by
the Head.
As a special case the Principal Officer may allow the student to deposit
the admission and school fee in installments on the recommendation of
the Head of the School.
The admission and regular quarterly fee will not be refundable
