Message from the Principal’s desk:
Dear teachers, parents and Students, we are well aware that schooling is our first contact with the world, a period of joy, healthy competition, fearing, adjustment, sharing and love. It is not the wide open spaces, classrooms, the library, laboratories or the large fields that make the school. It is in the heart of the students and staff that the true institution exists. That is what we the Lasallian educators are determined to do by providing all the possible curricular and co-curricular activities to our students. I believe that Learning is not a process limited to schools and colleges only, nor does it end with the conclusion of one’s school career. It is indeed a lifelong process. La Salle High School and College Faisalabad is oriented to the total formation of a child and to adaptations of various methods suiting the dynamics of changing world in order to achieve common goals and objectives. It is further characterized by shared vision – responsibility and above all, love and faith in God in order to achieve these goals keeping in mind that we are called to serve those entrusted to our care by touching hearts, teaching minds and transforming lives. Dear Students, it is my message to you all that the people of fine character live by their values. They are honest and are committed to truthfulness in thought, word and deed. True character thus encompasses the capacity for self-discipline. Character creates self-respect, which in turn leads to high self-esteem. Maturity is reflected in all aspects of character – the decisions we make, the friends we choose and the responsibilities we accept. Always remember to uphold the dignity of people. Be always ready to give preference to other. What you are is God’s gift to you. What you become is your gift to God. Have something to live for. Bring out the best in you. Also I would like to congratulate all the students and the teachers for actively taking part in various activities starting from the month of April to June 2018 and making it successful. Lastly I would like to say that being parents, look into the eyes of your child and thank God for giving you a wonderful gift. In a few years from now, they will be soaring to the greater life. As parents it is important to invest your time with them now. God bless us all. Best wishes for
marvelous vacation.

their mothers by giving them cards
and flowers. Three students gave
speeches about mothers’ day to
express their love and gratitude
towards their mothers.
All the mothers joined teachers
and Ms. Ruby Johnson headmis-

La Salle Football Match – Staff vs Students
With regards to School Day celebration, La Salle High School & College Faisalabad organised a wonderful
football match between male staff and students on Tuesday 15th May with very enthusiastic participation
from both teams!
Staff and student teams had a great array of players to choose from, as talent is ripe in the squads for this
match. Bro. Shahid Mughal was the captain of staff team and Master Haroon Tariq (10th B) was the captain
of students team. He scored three goals from the staff team, one in the first half and two fabulous goals in
the 2nd half. Bro. Shahid Mughal was the only player to score the goals in the entire match.
It is important to point out that student team deserves immense credit for their hard work, they put up a
good fight in both first and second half, but their display was not good enough to beat the defense of staff
team. Therefore, student team was unable to score any goal.
At the end of the match students and staff members gave the winning team a huge cheer! Staff team left the
ground with their heads held high after a great win of 3:0.
