ALPINE – ATELIER TUFFERY

In the 19th century, Celestin Tuffery, master tailor, seeks a solution to dress

the workers who came to build the railway for the crossing of the Cévenne.

In 1892, he gives birth to the French jeans in Florac.

To celebrate the 125th anniversary of the family business, Atelier Tuffery

inaugurated a new workshop, a modern showcase of this gesture legacy

that is still performed daily by the 3rd generation of the Tuffery family. Every

day, they pass on decades of know-how to the new team of tailors and

garment makers.

Atelier Tuffery designs new models, with contemporary cuts that are

adapted to our daily requirements, while continuing to offer the mythical

models of the House, which still make its renown today.

• 09:30 : Departure in convoy for the Grands Causses

Regional Park in the Cevennes National Park

• 10:30 : Coffee break

• 12:30 : Lunch at La Ferme de Cornadel

at Anduze (30140)

• 14:00 : Departure for the Atelier Tuffery

• 15:30 : Visit of the Atelier Tuffery

• 17:00 : End of the visit

• 17:30 : End of the roadtrip

The restaurant is located in a Cevenole farm that

has a unique decor. You will be able to enjoy a

cuisine with southern flavors and with a natural

taste, prepared with care for the choice of

seasonal products and with respect for the nature

of the region.
