• Review basic principles of radiography• Learn radiographic projections and beam orientation

• Recognize and spell radiographic anatomy

• Identify physes & sites of bone abnormality

• Introduction to applied and cross section extremity anatomy

Introduction: important features

• Film identification: what goes where

• Describe properly: cranial/dorsal; caudal/palmar

• Describe view based on beam direction (appearance generally not affected by direction)

• Learn how to highlight specific structures
