Job Description
A successful Administrative Officer will act as the point of contact for all employees, providing administrative support and managing their queries. Main duties include (but are not limited to) the following:
1. Handle complex reception and visitor enquiries ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.

2. Take responsibility for pupil first aid as a designated first aider, first aid and welfare duties, looking after sick pupils, liaising with parents/staff etc. and use specialist skills to undertake
the administration of medical procedures/medicines.
3. Contribute to the planning, development and organisation of support service systems, procedures and policies.
4. Carry out research, analyse and evaluate data and information and produce reports, information and data as required.
5. Undertake typing and word-processing and complex IT based tasks including operation of relevant equipment and complex ICT packages.

6. Provide administrative and organisational support to the school SENDCO.
7. Undertake complex procedures including processing of complex forms, returns etc., including those to outside agencies e.g. DfE, LA.
8. Ordering of stock and processing invoices.
9. Monitor and manage stock within an agreed budget, assist with procurement, catalogue resources and undertake audits as required.
10. Admissions and leavers making sure Sims is accurate. Maintain and collate pupil reports on request.
11. Nursery payments monthly report to School Business Manager/Bursar

12. Assist and support School Business Manager anything deemed necessary for the headteacher and senior leadership team.
