    GAUGE:

    One Motif = About 11 x 11 in. (28 x 28 cm) BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the

    gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified inthe pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, tryusing a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

    STITCH EXPLANATION:

    BPDC (back post d ouble crochet) Yo, insert hook from back to front then to back, going aroundpost of indicated st, draw up a loop, (yo and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice.
