Containment Boundary of Lincoln Park

Page 2: L Park

Urgency of Construction

An all out effort to keep the creatures and the deformed inside the Lincoln Park District.

Disorganized barricades were constructed by civilians, using sand bags, automobiles, and whatever was around at first.

Page 3: L Park

Quick Walls Someone came up with the idea of using

shipping containers for temporary walls

Page 4: L Park

Shipping Container Wall

Shipping Containers could be brought in very quickly and put in place to block streets.

They can be removed easy enough when the permanent wall was put in place.

Page 5: L Park

HESCO Sandbag Walls The military reinforced the temporary

barriers with proven HESCO Walls. Barriers used during the Iraq war to protect important areas.

Block access to waterways (Chicago River – North Branch and Lake Michigan)
