Grade Point Average and Class Rank

• Determined by assigning a numerical value to each subject’s final letter grade, adding them up and dividing by the total number of credits

• All full and half year courses that meet everyday during the regular school day count

• Weight value of .075 is given for every credit of honors

• Weight value of .15 is given for AP credit with a C- or better

• Official Class Rank is computed over the summer before senior year and again at the end of the first semester of senior year
