securely-operating sectional doors.

This multi-faceted range is supplemented by other logistical equipment such as land-

bridges, dock shelters, fast-operating doors, fire-resistant doors and the innovative Fastgate

Ice.

Our advisers think actively along with your company and guide you as a client through the

full process from design to installation. L-door also provides appropriate after-sales service

so that the lifespan of your investment is maximised, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

L-door guarantees high-quality, bespoke work and a high level of service.

You can obtain every colour as an option, but on a standard

basis you can choose from:

L-door uses insulated panels with a minimum thickness of 42

mm for the production of your sectional doors. Each panel is clad

with a 0.45 mm galvanized steel plate which offers additional

stiffness and is filled with high-grade, environmentally friendly

CFC-free polyurethane foam. To ensure a perfect finish and

robust attachment of the side hinges, the panels are finished with

Sendzimir galvanized end caps.

The floor panel has galvanized steel consoles to which the lifting

cables are attached.

Hinges and guides

L-door selects high-grade materials. The panels are

attached to each other by galvanized steel hinges. The

side hinges are equipped with adjustable galvanized

steel roll-holders. The door runs in Sendzimir

galvanized guiding rails on both sides.

Springs

One or more torsion springs ensure that your door is

kept perfectly in balance during its full movement.

These springs are mounted on a steel axle which is

anchored to the assembly frame with layered console

plates. Oversized steel lifting cables on grooved

aluminium cable drums tie the torsion springs to the

door panel.

Seals

A soft polystyrene foam band between the adjoining

panels interrupts any cold bridge.

The door is sealed above and below with sturdy rubber

profiles. The seal is safeguarded on the right and left

with a hard rubber clamping profile.

Extra functionalities

Extra functionality with windows or doors

Your sectional L-door can be equipped with a walk-in door and windows. The walk-

in door is equipped with a one-point lock on a standard basis. A security mechanism

blocks the operation of the door as long as the walk-in door is not fully closed, in order

to prevent damage to the door and to guarantee the safety of your staff. Different types

of windows can be fitted in both the walk-in door and the door panel. These can be

executed in double-walled acrylate or break-in resistant hard glass.

Glazing or expanded metal

L-door can also perfectly tailor-make doors in expanded metal or glazed sections. The

glazed sections in double-walled acrylate or glass or a fully glazed door guarantee you

a maximum view of the adjacent space.

Equipment

Standard equipment

Your L-door doors are equipped on a standard basis with a bolt

that can be operated from inside, a pulling cord with a handle and

a foot pedal.

Optional

If wished the door can be equipped with a built-in cylinder lock that can be

unlocked from both inside and outside.

Chain tackle operation is also among the options available. A reduction-

gear box with a transmission ratio of 1:4 placed directly on the axle is

operated manually with a chain.

If you would like maximum comfort, then electrical operation offers the

solution. You operate the electrically driven motor that is placed directly

on the axle via a pushbutton box (one-stop down) that can be mounted

both on the left and right of the door. The motor has a self-braking worm-

wheel transmission and built-in end switches for fine adjustment of the

open and/or closed state of the door. The control box works with a safety

voltage of 24 V. The connection voltage is 16 A, 3 x 400 V + neutral + earth

(red 5-pin CEE plug). If necessary the motor can be adapted to 3 x 220 V +

earth (blue 3-pin CEE plug). The consumed power varies between 0.37 and

0.75 KW depending on the size of the door. A control box with protective

class IP 44 is provided as a standard feature; a higher level of protection is

possible depending on your internal business process.

Safety features

L-door sectional doors are equipped with a multitude of safety features.

Walking-under protector (standard)This pneumatic protector is placed in the lowest rubber component on the door.As soon as contact is made, the protector activates and stops the door immediately.

Cable breakage protector (optional)This feature prevents the door from falling down if one or both of the lifting cables break.

Slack cable protector (optional)As soon as the cables threaten to derail the breakage protector activates and the motor is blocked.

Spring breakage protector (standard)If one of the torsion springs loses its tension or breaks, this feature ensures that the door is immediately brought to a halt when closing.

Walk-in door protector (standard for electrical operation)If the walk-in door is not completely closed, this protector prevents the motor from being switched on.

Our sectional doors fulfil the provisions of the European directives, in compliance with the Machinery directive (2006/42/EC) according to Article 10 of the Royal Decree of 05/05/1995, as well as the regulations in force and standards from ARAB, NBN.

Your sectional door has the required conformity declarations for the door, motor, spring and cable breakage protectors.

Furthermore, all of our logistical equipment is fitted by VCA certified technicians.

Dock equipment from A to Z

In addition to sectional doors L-door also offers an extensive range of dock equipment,

including levellers, shelters and a whole series of accessories. To support your logistical

process optimally, our L-door advisers support you with advice and assistance so that

you can decide jointly which systems are most suitable for your sector and needs. They

also monitor the entire project from measurement up to installation and delivery.

Comfortable unloading and loading

Levellers provide a bridge between the loading bay and the truck. These levellers exist

in different versions, depending on the type of freight that you have to move. Levellers

made of one piece, levellers with different lips. Manual, automated or telescopic.

Top-class loading and unloading

The basis for your loading system is the loading

bridge, of course. A wide range of solutions also exist

here. In addition to the fixed leveller, we also offer

height-adjustable scissors lifts. These are hydraulic

scissors systems that enable you to bring the

platform precisely to the desired height. Robustness

is guaranteed through the use of high-quality steel

for both the loading surface and the undercarriage.

Safety features such as ‘foot safety’ and the

‘maintenance feature’ help to prevent accidents. The

anti-rust primers and polyurethane-based final-coat

paints contribute to the durability of your loading

bridge.

Temperature control

Dock shelters are attached to the façade overhead

and at the sides of the loading platform. They prevent

cold and/heat from escaping from the warehouse

and/or truck. The shelters are made of high-quality

wear-resistant plastics and are available in different

dimensions. The exact dimensions are determined

based on the most commonly used type of truck.

Mammoth, the strongest dock bumper

Prevent damage to your loading bay by using the L-door Mammoth dock bumper. When

assembling a docking system, L-door ensures that work can take place smoothly and

safely. Loading and unloading can actually cause quite a lot of damage to your loading

bay or trucks. By using the L-door Mammoth dock bumper the docking system can be

equipped with a steel dock bumper which is fitted with high-quality rubber on the inside.

Fast operating doors and fire-resistant doors

The L-door range also includes fast operating doors for both indoor

and outdoor use. The L-door fast operating doors ensure that

draughts, wind and dust stay outside and heat or cold are kept

inside.

Your staff can transport goods quickly and efficiently in your firm

thanks to rapid opening and closing. L-door guarantees that your

door always remains reliable, even after intensive use.

Fast operating doors

Fire-resistant doors offer a guarantee that your valuable goods will

be safeguarded for as long as possible against the potential seat

of a fire. Just like with other doors, L-door will tailor-make your fire

door.

Maintenance and repairs of all brands

Own fitting department

Our fitters are VCA certified and have benefited from sound training. This means that

they can install and adjust the doors safely and accurately. Before the fitting starts the

site inspector will inspect the site to check whether the assembly surface has been

prepared in accordance with our installation blueprints.

Maintenance

Depending on how intensively your door is used, we advise at least one or two

maintenance visits per year. L-door can offer you a bespoke maintenance contract for

this at affordable prices. Do you still have existing doors made by other manufacturers?

Do not hesitate to ask for an L-door maintenance proposal for these as well.

Repairs

Our 24/7 repair service is equipped to repair doors and loading systems of all brands

quickly and expertly.

Warranty

L-door offers you extensive warranties. Ask for further information from your contact

person.

L-door also has a breakdown base in the

Antwerp port zone which is operational 24/7.
