The taxation in the sphere of tourism is regulated by the Tax Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (June 26, 1996 No. 25)

Visa procedure

• The visa is generally required except CIS countries (Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan are not included)

• The visa is not required for visitors from Turkey, China, Malaysia, Japan and the owners of the diplomatic passports from the industrially developed countries

• In countries, where there is no foreign representative office of the Kyrgyz Republic, the diplomatic representative offices and consular institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Russian Federation will provide the services

• The list of 28 states, the citizens of which have a right to get visa on the basis of personal applications for the term of up to one month with no registration in the bodies of the Internal Affairs was approved by the Decree of Government of the Kyrgyz Republic (No 213, April 15, 2003)

• The simplified registration system of the foreign citizens is in effect. There were implemented the Certificates, on the basis of which the registration is made by hotels and inviting organizations
