The 17 properties of the World Heritage Sites are located in Kyoto Prefecture. These
heritage sites are attracting many people since each embodies a respective era in which it
was constructed. You are in the central of Kyoto. About transportations, mostly you have to
take buses, or rent a bike. Trains are only two lines. I wrote one day tickets system below.

Flat Fare Routes
The One-Day Pass is valid for Flat Fare Routes. The first time you get off simply put the
card into the card slot. On the back of the card the date will be printed.
After the first time simply show your card with the date to the driver.
You normally use buses for sightseeing.

Walk to Toji Temple, Nishi- Honganji Temple, and Nijo-Jo Castle
Alight at Saga Arashiyama Station, then walk to Arashiyama (700m)

Recommended place to visit Day 2
Please head there in the early morning to avoid the queue.
Take JR Line to go to Fushimi Inari Shrine (from Kyoto Station) for 7 minutes . Enjoy hike up to the top. (If you hike the entire route, it will take approximately two hours)
Take Keihan Line to go to Shimogamo Shrine.
Alight at Demachiyanagi Station, then go north walk 15 minutes.
Shimogamo Shrine, Shimogamo Jinja, "Lower Kamo Shrine"
Next, take a taxi to go to Kamigamo Shrine, Kamigamo Jinja, "Upper Kamo Shrine"
Take a taxi again to go to Golden Pavillion (Kinkaku Ji Temple)
Walk to Ryoan Ji, temple Ninna Ji Temple

Recommended place to visit Day 3
Visit Kiyomizudera Temple in early morning to avoid the queue.
From Kyoto Station, you can take 100 / 206 bus to get there.
The bus stop is in front of the Kyoto Tower. Night view is also very nice, but you must wait a long queue.
Walk down on Higashiyama District to Kodai Ji Temple, then Maruyama Park

Eikando Temple to the Philosopher's Path (哲学の道, Tetsugaku no michi) is a pleasant
stone path through the northern part of Kyoto's Higashiyama district.
In high season for autumn, the path will be perfect to walk and see!
Approximately two kilometers long, the path begins around Ginkakuji (Silver Pavilion)
