Marbella sold fewer homes in the First Quarter of 2015

The first quarter of 2015 has started with fewer home sales (850 units sold) than in the same period of 2014 (858 units sold). This represents a -0,9% year difference. Marbella has become national flag by number of transactions in 2014, peaking at number 7 of the Ranking of Spanish Towns, where most homes were sold (among 8,122 municipalities).

In Spain it takes an average of 10.6 months to sell a home since it gets on the mar-ket, according to estimates by the valuer Tinsa. Cantabria, Alava and Segovia out from the provinces where it takes place a home, between 18 and 24 months, while Madrid, Barcelona and Malaga are the provinces where it takes 6 to 12 months to close the deal.
