Getting to the event

Public Transport to Glasgow GreenFirst Bus and Scotrail operate services from the Greater Glasgow area into the city centre.There are limited train services on a Sunday morning into the city centre.
Please check www.travelinescotland.com before travelling.
Parking at Glasgow GreenOn-street Pay & Display is available locally to walkers on all the surrounding streets of Glasgow Green. Other options are to use the close by NCP car park at King Street orQ Parking at St Enoch’s Shopping Centre.
Morning Kiltwalk Buses forMighty StridersKiltwalk bus service costs £5pp and are available to book here.
This service takes you from Strathleven Long Stay Car Park opposite Dumbarton Library to Glasgow Green (45 minutes*). With a pick up point at Chalmers Street, Clydebank (30 minutes travel time from this pick up point*). NB This is the same location (near Clydebank Train Station) that walkers can be dropped off after the walk.
Spaces are limited so please book ASAP to secure your seat. Services leave from Strathleven Long Stay Car Park at 7.30am, 8.30am and 9.30am.
The Clydebank pick up on Chalmers Street will arrive approx. 15 mins after it leaves Dumbarton so pick times will be 7.45am, 8.45am and 9.45am.
If you are a wheelchair user and would like to book a space on the bus, please email us [email protected] and we will do our very best to accommodate your needs.
Unfortunately dogs are not allowed on board, with the exception of service dogs. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Masks are mandatory whilst travelling on the Kiltwalk buses.

Scotrail Trains to GlasgowDumbarton Central Rail Station is a short walk from the Mighty Stride end site at the MeadowLeisure Centre in Dumbarton and Scotrail run at least two trains per hour to Glasgow between10:00hrs and 19:00hrs on event day.

Evening Kiltwalk BusesKiltwalk bus service costs £5pp and are available to book here.
This service takes you from the Meadow Leisure Centre in Dumbarton to Glasgow City Centre. With stops at Clydebank Railway Station (20 minutes*), Glasgow Central Station (40 minutes*) and Glasgow Green (45 minutes*). Services leave every hour, on the hour, from 11am until 7pm.
The bus stop is situated on Bankend Road in front of the Meadow Leisure Centre (see map).
Spaces are limited on our buses, so please book your ticket ASAP to make sure you have a seat. Services leave: 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm*.
Masks are mandatory whilst travelling on Kiltwalk buses.

Parking and Pick-Up PointsCar pick up point for walkers is located a short distance from the finish line. This area is for pick up only.
Additional on street parking for longer stay is available at Broad Meadow Industrial Estate, Risk Street and St.Mary's Way just a short walk from the Mighty Stride finish line.

Please note that specators are not permitted on the Kiltwalk site due to current restrictions.
