Cleanliness campaign was organized and

awareness was created among the villagers

through the parade.

In the Academic year 2011-12 different activities have been

organized by Echo Club to create environmental awareness

among the students. The activities have been conducted under

the guidance of H.M and the support given by all the teachers

and specially the active participation of the students.

The following activities have been organized in thy

school campus from the Echo Club:

On 26th of December 3 resourceful persons from ‘Tata

building Indian Company’ were invited to give Seminars on

the topic Protection of Environment in community, schools,

villages and also through out the nation and the world.

Students have been shown video clippings to motivate them

towards the same.

A drawing competition was conducted on

the theme of ‘Environmental pollution’. In

which 4 students have been awarded with

prizes.

An essay competition was conducted on the topic

“Environmental Awareness” In which 6 students have been

awarded with prizes.

An awareness was created regarding the

prevention of some serious diseases like

Dengue, H1-N1 etc with the help of wall

posters provided by village panchayat.

An ‘Injection Camp’ has been

organized by a medical agency in the

month of December in the school campus.

Students are asked to prepare an album

about the different lifestyles like different types of

plants, different types of animals . Charts have

been prepared by the students regarding the

importance of medicinal plants.

About 40 plants have been planted in the

school campus and the students have been

given responsibility of nourishing them.

Natural and Chemical fertilizers

pits were dug and their importance has

been explained.

On 2nd of January 2012 a ‘Rock

Climbing’ was organized at

Kundalagurki Hills and children were

given the environmental awareness.
