BECOME A CUSTOMER
Using the shop without login
Customers can still use the shop without registering as a user (login). In this case, however, it is not pos-sible to place an order. Moreover, the product prices are not displayed without login.
Using the shop with login
Registration is required to be able to login to the shop. This can be accomplished in the "Become a customer" area.
Registration
All the mandatory fields must be filled in to complete the registration. These are marked with (*). Registra-tion is aimed at corporate customers in Germany, France, Netherlands, and Austria. A version for other international countries will follow.
If the customer is already a KRONE customer, he/she needs to enter his/her KRONE customer num-ber. The first orders for new customers must always be paid in advance.
To speed up the registration process, the customer can submit a SEPA direct debit mandate or pay the invoice in advance. To complete the registration, the customer must accept the KRONE registration terms and conditions. The responsible department will activate the customer within the next few work-ing days.
Access data
Shortly after submitting the registration form, the customer will receive an email with his/her ac-cess data. The customer's user name is always his/her registered email address. His/her pass-word is provided in the customer email.The lower or upper case should always be ob-served!
After the first login, the customer will be prompted to change his/her password. This is absolutely nec-essary for privacy reasons.
After entering the password contained in the cus-tomer email, the customer is prompted to enter a new password. For security reasons, this password must be confirmed in the second field. Here also, always observe lower and upper case.
To log in as a registered user, the "Login" field in the upper right-hand area of the screen should be used. The customer then logs in by entering the user name and the password.
If the customer has forgotten his/her password, he/she can click on the "Have you forgotten your pass-word?" field. In this case, he/she will be prompted to enter his/her registered email address. A newly generated password will be sent to this address after the "Send now" field is clicked. The password provided is immediately valid to log in, and must be changed after it has been used once (see the initial registration description).

To return to or restore the start view of the web page, the customer can click the "Home" menu item or click on the KRONE logo in the top left-hand part of the screen.
Categories
Under the "Categories" tab, the customer can use the corresponding area for his/her part search. If, for example, he/she is looking for axle parts from KRONE axles, he/she can access the corresponding category under "Chassis" > "Drive unit" > "KRONE
axles".After clicking on the category, the customer is presented with an overview of all the parts in the se-lected category. The category tree is shown on the left-hand side. It can be used to navigate to other
areas. By clicking on the button on the top right, the cus-tomer can activate or deactivate the list view of the items. If the list view is activated, the products are displayed in a more compact way.

Item search
A search box is provided to search through the shop. In this search box, the customer can:
Search for items by name
Search for items by their description
Search for a specified KRONE material number (if fully specified!)
Search for a manufacturer's material number
After submitting the search terms, a list of products that match the search criteria is displayed.
Quick search
As well as an item search using the search field, the customer can also make a special search in a selected category. To do this, click on the "Catego-
ries" tab.
Search using chassis number
If the customer is logged in, another search field appears in the header with the description "Search using chassis number". After a correct, complete KRONE chassis number has been entered, the customer can search for
specific parts
for his/her vehicle in an individual vehicle catalogue. If the vehicle is not yet found in this catalogue, he/she will be referred to the classic catalogue. Special registration is required or this.

In the colour selection, the most common colours are presented as a suggestion.
The customer can still choose from multiple colours.
There is a range of standard colours that are used on the vehicles in 90% of all cases.
If you click on "Show all colours", a selection of all the colours that can be ordered is shown. This selection is only recommended for experts who are very familiar with the colour codes used by KRONE.

To better determine the required part, the customer can change the view of the drawing using the tools on the top right.By clicking on the PDF symbol, you can save the whole assembly as a PDF.

Select component assembly
KRONE has developed a system by which the customer can specify the spare parts just by clicking on the function or the picture.
The desired component assembly opens by clicking on the term.
Determining the spare part
In the right-hand window, the customer is shown a technical drawing with components corresponding to the requested spare part. By clicking on the shopping cart symbol, the component
is placed into the shopping cart.

By clicking on the magnifying glass, you can search for an item by entering the material number or name. The customer
can choose if he/she wants to search "in the Cur-rent catalogue" (e.g. Profi Liner), or "in the current assembly" (e.g. attachments) or "from the current assembly".

Colour selection – Quick entry
With coloured parts, a pop-up is displayed after they are entered in the quick entry with a prompt to choose the colour of the product. The correspond-ing selection corresponds to selection of colours on the product page as described above.

If coloured parts are included in the uploaded list, a colour selection is offered for exactly this item. After selecting the appropriate colours, all items are trans-ferred into the shopping cart.

Shopping cart
By clicking on the symbol on the top right of the screen, the customer is shown the shopping cart. Here, along with a list of the contents of the shopping cart, the customer is shown his/her payment methodsstored at KRONE, can add further items to his/her shopping cart by:

Quick entry via upload
Using Quick entry via upload, the customer can add a long list of items to the shopping cart, which can be transferred to the shopping cart with just one click.
However, to enable the upload, a strict format for the import must be observed.
The customer can click on the question mark to get a template file to use. The customer can save a lot of time by using the Quick entry function for uploading a CSV file. Simply enter all the desired item numbers under each other in the table. The desired quantity is entered after-wards separated with a comma.Each item should be listed according to the follow-ing scheme: "Item number, quantity".
Example: If the customer wants to order 3 support legs, item number: 535817254, for a central-axle, swap trailer chassis then he/she should enter: 535817254,3 in the CSV file. If the customer just wants to order one support leg, enter 535817254,1.
Quick entry
In quick entry, the customer can add individual products to his/her shopping cart, if he/she knows the item number.
As well as the items that are found in the shop categories and have shop product pages, the shop also includes a large number of additional, so-called "hidden materials". These items are normally vehicle-specific parts.
For this, the customer enters the corresponding item number, determines the number of items to be added to the shopping cart, and clicks on the "+ to the shopping cart" button.

Order – Order data
Under "Your order data", the customer can call up his/her order data and make settings.
In the "Delivery address" section, the customer has a choice:
To use the address of the customer,
To select a saved address,
Or, by pressing the field "Enter a new address", to enter a new address that should be saved for future use.
In addition, an already existing address can be edited using "Edit".
In the "Order reference" section, the customer can:
Enter his/her own order reference number. This will be listed on the order receipt and confirma-tion of the order.
Enter a fleet number or equipment number to note any assignment to a particular vehicle.
ORDER PROCESS
Order – Shopping cart
To complete the purchase, the customer clicks on the shopping cart symbol. After checking the contents of his/her shopping cart, such as the item numbers, descriptions, quantity, and, if necessary, the selected colour, the customer can see further details and make settings by clicking on "Your order data".

ORDER PROCESS
Order – Shipping mode
In the "Shipping mode" section, the customer can choose between standard shipping and express shipping. It must be noted that express shipping comes with an additional cost.
In the "Shipping options" section, the customer can choose between "Complete shipment" and "Allow partial shipments". In the first case, the items are only sent when all the items are ready for shipment. This is generally the most cost-effective option. With "Allow partial shipments", items are sent as soon as they are ready for shipment, but this may incur additional freight costs.
Order – Order confirmation
The customer clicks on the "Confirm order" button for the next step. Here, all the selected order options are summarised once again. If the customer agrees with all the settings, he/she can click on "Order with obligation to pay" after agreeing to the general
terms and conditions of business. After clicking on the appropriate button, the customer receives a confirmation of his/her order at the email address associated with the account.
