Night Strike 8/2013-2/2014

Served as volunteer staff once a week, working with the homeless population in Portland. Ran a variety of stations including feet washing, hair cutting, food serving, clothing distribution, and resources. The focal point of the job was talking to, communing with, and serving the homeless guests, meeting their needs as thoroughly as possible.

ICE 5/2013-8/2013

Served gelato and made all kinds of coffee, tea, espresso shakes, and Italian soda. Also made and served all kinds of savory and dessert crepes. The shop is located in an indoor Farmer’s Market so there was plenty of interaction with people and a big part of the job was drawing in customers who walked through the market.

Firefly/Legwork Social 6/2012-9/2012

Performed various tasks including front desk, anti-virus software follow-up, organizational duties, and fulfillment of gift cards awarded to clients. Job consisted of constant interaction with people, both on the phone and in person. Acquired a variety of basic computer skills.

Nanny and Other Babysitting 1/2006-Present

Provided full time child-care for two girls for the summer of 2011, which included transporting to various activities and supervising their animal care, including horses.

Also spent 6 months in Austria after high school as an au pair for three children under the age of 4 who did not speak English.

Fibonacci Smile 1/2009-9/2012

Served as lab assistant and helped maintain the trays and models by weighing the material used in processing dental molds and assisted in other odd jobs as needed.

Performed a variety of key functions to the operations of a packing/shipping/retail store. Duties included: customer assistance with shipping packages with knowledge in all major shipping companies (UPS, Federal Express, USP), serviced customers with retail purchases, assisted in all duties necessary for the maintenance of the shipping portion of the store.
