Kreon modular ceilings aim to materialise simplicity, unity and functionality

within its design.

Simplicity must not be the result of an uncritical reduction. Instead, it should be the

convergence and synthesis of the complex requirements imposed on ceiling solutions by

contemporary architecture. Taking its cue from this concept, Kreon ceiling solutions do

more than just span a room. It offers a unique solution for the integration of building service

systems that need to be accommodated in the ceiling: lighting, ventilation, cooling, heating,

fire protection and much more. Kreon’s most pursued objective is to offer unity in design

translated through technical solutions.

Design that gives prominence to simplicity, permanence and calmness requires precision

so as not to become trivial. The more one condenses, omits and simplifies, the more the

significance of the detail is increased. Unity and simplicity of details are the very ones to

Kreon systeem plafonds integreren eenvoud, uniformiteit en functionaliteit

in hun vormgeving.

Eenvoud mag niet het resultaat zijn van een naïeve zuinigheid. Het moet de concentratie

en samenvoeging zijn van de complexiteit welke onze hedendaagse architectuur aan het

plafond stelt. Kreon ceiling solutions is dan ook meer dan het louter overspannen van de

Ceilings usually have an indistinctive character in the space surrounding us. In daily life,

as well as in architecture, they are seldom noticed. Kreon ceiling solutions will make these

anonymous surfaces come alive: structure, relief and symmetric shadow gaps support

the architectural rhythm of space whilst creating effects like rest, order... and even chaos.

These atmospheres are moreover duly emphasised by the repetitive use of integrated

luminaires arrays.

Plafonds hebben meestal een anoniem karakter in de ruimte rondom ons. In het

dagelijks leven, evenals in de architectuur, worden ze zelden opgemerkt. Kreon ceiling

solutions wil deze anonieme oppervlakken tot leven wekken: structuur, reliëf en

symmetrische schaduwvoegen ondersteunen het architectonische ritme van de ruimte,

en creëren effecten zoals rust, orde... en zelfs chaos. Deze eigenschappen worden

The Vektron Clip-in system consists of a concealed supporting structure to which

demountable tiles can be clipped. When the ‘clip-in system’ is mounted, a shadow joint with

a width of 6 mm and a depth of 8 mm is created accentuating the grid pattern and generating

a unique design. Through the combination of the ‘clip-in’ profile and specially developed

connectors on the tile, a perfect levelling is ensured. Tiles of the ‘clip-in’ system can be

singularly and effortlessly removed, which simplifies eventual functional adaptations of space.

Het Vektron Clip-in systeem bestaat uit een verborgen draagstructuur met inklikkende

plafondtegels. Bij montage van het Clip-in systeem ontstaat er een schaduwvoeg met een

breedte van 6 mm en een diepte van 8 mm die het rasterpatroon accentueert, wat een unieke

vormgeving creëert. Door de combinatie van het clip-in profiel en de speciaal ontwikkelde

klemnok in de Kreon tegels wordt het plafond perfect genivelleerd. Elke Kreon tegel van het

Clip-in systeem kan snel en eenvoudig gedemonteerd worden. Hierdoor kunnen technische

functies eenvoudig aangepast worden bij een wijziging van de ruimtefunctionaliteit. Een

bijkomend voordeel van dit systeem is de beperkte inbouwdiepte waardoor het plafond zeer

dicht kan aansluiten tegen de technische installaties in het plenum.

Clip-in tiles are made of galvanised steel and protected with a UV-resistant powder

coating. They are fire and corrosion resistant. The perforated tiles incorporate a

sound absorbing membrane which can be selected to respond to various

acoustic requirements.

Clip-in tiles worden uit gegalvaniseerd staal gemaakt en zijn beschermt met een UV-

bestendige poederlak. Ze zijn vuur- en corrosiebestendig. De geperforeerde tegels

beschikken over een geluidsabsorberend membraan waardoor de tegels aan specifieke

akoestische eisen kunnen tegemoetkomen.

Tech Tile offers potential partitioning with the aid of the 100 mm wide Tech Tile. Tiles

without shadow gap on the width side can be delivered on demand.

Hinge tiles give easy access to the ceiling void and are clipped into the same carriers.

Maintenance on all kinds of techniques behind the ceiling can be performed while the

hinge tile hangs vertically.

Hinge tiles geven u de mogelijkheid om op een eenvoudige wijze het plenum te

bereiken. De tegels worden in dezelfde profielen geklikt als de Clip-in tegels. Wanneer

de Hinge-tile wordt losgeklikt, zal deze op twee scharnierpunten in de profielen blijven

hangen. Hierdoor kunnen op een vlotte en veilige wijze werkzaamheden (onderhoud,

herstellingen,...) uitgevoerd worden.

Kreon ceiling solutions offers several perimeter solutions to finish edges and hide

underlying structures. C-Wall, W-Wall and L-Wall are surface mounted to the wall. Edge

cover L-connection and Edge Cover Plaster provide the opportunity to connect your

Clip-in ceiling with a gypsum ceiling. Edge Cover provides a standard finish to floating

ceilings.

Kreon ceiling solutions stelt verschillende soorten profielen voor om de randen af

Bulkhead panels create an elegant transition between two ceiling levels. Tiles are clipped

into the same carriers ensuring a rigid construction to the ceiling transition and can be

tailored to specified depths where the parameters below should be taken into account.

The sub construction comprises a supporting grid with two identical profiles

(H=25mm/ W=18mm), joined by cross connectors. The entire sub construction is

made of thermo galvanised steel and with few additional components, quick and

simple assembly is enabled.

Lay-on tiles are made of galvanised steel and protected with a UV-resistant powder

coating. They are fire and corrosion resistant. The perforated tiles incorporate a

sound absorbing membrane which can be selected to respond to various

acoustic requirements.

Colour, material and contrast raise anonymous surfaces into determining elements within

architecture. In order to offer as many possible choices to enhance your architecture, Kreon

presents a wide pallet of ceiling colours. All products can be delivered in any RAL colours

(see page 204 for ordering advice). Kreon tiles are powder coated with a minimal thickness of

50 micron and a gloss level between 3% and 20% according to Gardner 60°. This low gloss

level generates depth effect and bears a smooth ambiance. Products are colour matched for

the purpose of optimal integration between lighting and services.

comfort attributes of your space. They also assist in acoustic control and can influence air

The choice for a specific ceiling has strong influence on the acoustic properties of space. It is

fundamental to the planner to take sound behaviour and function of space into account while

defining the most appropriate ceiling.

The noise level in an area is determined by the source and reflection of sound on walls,

floors and ceilings. Sometimes these reflections are desired in cases in which, for example,

speech intelligibility must overcome large distances. Most likely though, reflections can be

inconvenient because high noise nuisance may arise and disturb privacy.

Two are the properties to be considered in the design of suspended ceilings: sound

absorption and sound attenuation (longitudinal noise).

Through its varied range of ceiling tiles with different acoustic properties, Kreon can respond

appropriately to any acoustic demand.

De keuze van het plafond heeft een sterke invloed op de akoestische eigenschappen van de

ruimte. Het is voor de planner belangrijk te begrijpen hoe geluid zich in de ruimte gedraagt,

zodat het meest geschikte plafond kan gekozen worden in functie van de ruimte en het

gebruik ervan.

Het geluidsniveau in een ruimte wordt bepaald door een geluidsbron en de reflectie van

dit geluid tegen wanden, vloer en plafond. Soms zijn deze reflecties gewenst, bijvoorbeeld

wanneer er over grotere afstanden voldoende spraakverstaanbaarheid moet gerealiseerd

worden. Maar vaak zijn deze reflecties ongewenst omdat hierdoor een hinderlijk hoog

geluidsniveau kan ontstaan of omdat zij de privacy kunnen verstoren.

Er zijn twee akoestische eigenschappen waarmee men rekening dient te houden bij het

ontwerp van verlaagde plafonds: geluidsabsorptie (sound absorption) en overlangse

geluidsisolatie (sound attenuation).

Door zijn verscheidenheid aan akoestische eigenschappen leent het Kreon systeemplafond er

zich toe om voor verschillende situaties een gepaste oplossing te bieden.

Sound absorption is the ability of a surface to absorb sound and therefore to minimise

sound reflection in space. The reflected sounds are observed later than the initial sounds,

fact that generates echo, raises noise level, blurs the actual message and creates an

uncomfortable feeling.

Sound absorption is determined by reverberation time. The reverberation time is measured

in seconds and is the time required to delete sound by 60dB. The quantity of sound that

a material is able to absorb is expressed in sound absorption coefficient (αW). This is

measured according to ISO 354 / EN20354 (acoustics: absorption measurement of sound

in a reverberation room).

The sound absorption coefficient is a fraction of the absorbed incident sound power. The

remaining quantity of sound is reflected into space. The absorption coefficient depends on

sound frequency and is usually measured in each octave band between 125 and 4000 Hz.

The sound absorption coefficient has a value between zero (no absorption - all the sound

is reflected) and one (complete absorption - equivalent to an open window).

Kreon ceiling systems absorb sound by allowing sound waves to pass through

the perforated surface where they will react with the underlying material: custom-

manufactured and sealed mineral wool modules. Depending on thickness (20 or 30mm)

and density (50 kg / m³) sound absorption coefficients can range from 0,8 to 0,9. Size and

pattern of perforations on the tile also contribute to increase sound absorption and an

optimal result can be obtained with an open area between 15% and 22%.

Geluidsabsorptie is de mogelijkheid van een oppervlak om geluid te absorberen waardoor

de reflectie van geluid in de ruimte wordt geminimaliseerd. De gereflecteerde geluiden

worden later waargenomen dan de initiële geluiden. Hierdoor ontstaat er een echo, neemt

het geluidsniveau toe, zal de initiële boodschap minder duidelijk worden waargenomen en

kan er een onaangenaam gevoel ontstaan.

De geluidsabsorptie wordt bepaald door de nagalmtijd (reverberation time). Dit is de tijd

(uitgedrukt in seconden) waarin het geluid 60dB vervalt. De mate waarin een materiaal

geluid kan opnemen wordt uitgedrukt in de geluidsabsorptiecoëfficiënt (αW). Deze wordt

gemeten volgens ISO 354 / EN20354 (acoustics: measurement of sound aborption in a

reverberation room).

De geluidsabsorptiecoëfficiënt is de fractie van het invallende geluidsvermogen dat wordt

geabsorbeerd. De rest van het geluidsvermogen wordt terug in de ruimte gereflecteerd.

De absorptiecoëfficiënt is afhankelijk van de frequentie van het geluid en wordt meestal

gemeten bij elke octaafband tussen 125 en 4000 Hz.

De geluidsabsorptiecoëfficiënt heeft een waarde tussen nul (geen absorptie, al het geluid

wordt gereflecteerd) en één (volledige absorptie en is vergelijkbaar met een open raam).

Kreon plafondsystemen absorberen geluid doordat ze geluidsgolven door het

geperforeerde vlak laten passeren waarna het reageert met het achterliggende materiaal:

op maat gefabriceerde en gesealde mineraalwol modules. Afhankelijk van de dikte (20 of

30mm) en de densiteit (50kg/m³) kunnen waardes bekomen worden van 0,8-0,9.

De grootte en het patroon van de perforaties in de tegel dragen ook bij tot de

geluidsabsorptiewaarde van de tegel. Een open oppervlakte tussen 15% en 22% zorgt

voor een optimaal resultaat.

Suspended ceilings are often chosen due to their high flexibility. However, their capability

of isolation is compromised when compared to cases in which division walls go above the

level of suspended ceilings or even through the complete height of floors. Sound isolation

is inferior when horizontal transmission occurs in the space between the suspended

ceiling and the structural one (plenum). Traditional metal ceilings provide, therefore,

insufficient sound isolation. Nevertheless, some measures such as extra mineral wool and

plasterboard can counter balance this insufficiency and concur to reach required sound

isolation characteristics.

The parameters to be taken into account in suspended ceiling solutions are:

-total area construction

-values on-site are lower than laboratory values (reduction of 5 to 8dB)

Room to room sound attenuation is expressed in Dn.c.w. (dB units). This is a laboratory value

measured according to European standards EN20140-9 and EN150717 / 1.

To ensure adequate privacy in office environments, it is often recommended to provide

sound insulation of 35dB between adjacent rooms. To reach this isolation, one may opt for

a suspended ceiling with a laboratory worth of Dn.c.w. ≥ 40dB.

Vaak wordt er gekozen voor een volledig verlaagd plafond omdat dit een optimale

flexibiliteit toelaat. Deze manier van werken biedt een lagere geluidsisolatie in vergelijking

met situaties waar scheidingswanden door het verlaagd plafond steken of aan het

bouwkundig plafond zijn bevestigd. Indien de scheidingswanden niet tot aan het

bouwkundig plafond doorlopen, ontstaat er een horizontale transmissiemogelijkheid voor

geluid via de ruimte tussen het bouwkundig en verlaagd plafond (het plenum). Daarom

bieden traditionele metalen plafonds op zich vaak onvoldoende geluidsisolatie. Daarom

dienen in deze gevallen extra maatregelen getroffen te worden zoals het aanbrengen van

extra mineraalwol en gipsplaten. Deze hebben aanvullende akoestische eigenschappen

die ervoor zorgen dat het plafond de vereiste karakteristieken bekomt.

Wanneer men deze oplossing wil gaan toepassen moet er rekening gehouden worden met:

- de totale constructie

- de waarden op de bouwplaats die lager zijn dan de laboratoriumwaarden (een

vermindering van 5-8dB)

De overlangse geluidsisolatie wordt uitgedrukt in Dn.c.w. (room to room sound attenuation),

uitgedrukt in dB. Dit is een laboratoriumwaarde die gemeten werd conform de Europese

normen EN20140-9 en EN150717/1.

Om voldoende privacy in landschapskantoren te garanderen, wordt er aangeraden om een

geluidsisolatie tussen aangrenzende ruimtes te voorzien van 35dB. Om deze te bereiken

kan met voor een verlaagd plafond kiezen met een laboratoriumwaard van Dn.c.w. ≥ 40dB.

LED developments are driven by miniaturisation and performance increase. In order

to maximise these benefits, innovative lighting solutions that can control intensity and

temperature are required.

The use of LED technology within Kreon ceiling system enables the possibility to increase

lighting areas assuring improvement in light output and uniformity. Precision optical control

and positioning of single LED sources were developed in partnership Bartenbach Lichtlabor.

Tenno has all lighting components concealed in the tile. There is no conflict between

architecture and luminaire as the two merge together to form an unique entity. Light and

space issues are equally being given proper answers.

The innovative solution brought by Tenno sets your projects ready for the future.

Het samensmelten van licht en ruimte

De miniaturisering, steeds hogere lichtstromen en complexere warmtehuishouding welke de

LED ontwikkelingen kenmerken maken het noodzakelijk om nieuwe verlichtingsconcepten te

bedenken voor deze lichtbronnen.

Het toepassen van led´s binnen een modulair plafondsysteem laat een juiste spatiëring van

de individuele led´s toe en maken het mogelijk om een uniforme lichtspreiding te bekomen

zonder verblinding. De noodzakelijke optische controle en definiëring van de LED spreiding

werd ontwikkeld in samenwerking met onze partner Bartenbach Lichtlabor.

Bij Tenno zijn de verlichtingselementen onzichtbaar geïntegreerd in de tegel. De architectuur

hoeft niet langer met het armatuur te concurreren omdat ze naadloos in elkaar overvloeien.

Hierdoor krijgen licht en ruimte de aandacht die ze verdienen.

Tenno joins Kreon’s know-how with an advanced LED system. The core of Tenno is a

patented lens optic, which gives the opportunity to use the most vigorous SMD LED. This

lens optic creates a double focused light beam which makes it possible to be used in a

vektron tile with very small perforations, resulting in high efficiency and perfect glare control.

The range offers the choice between tiles with 5, 10 or 25 LEDs in a tile height of 30mm. (For

an optimal life time a minimal depth of 80mm is necessary.)

LED in Tenno are controlled by LAPS (Lifetime Adjusted Power Supply) guaranteeing

maximum life (average 60,000h at B10,L70*). Moreover it operates within a temperature

limitation that ensures optimum performance. Maintenance and operational costs of Tenno

are therefore low**.

Application of highly focused beams within a flexible ceiling system permits controlled zonal

light. Tenno can be likewise combined with building control system constituting an effective

tool for ‘green building’ applications.

Down

Spotting with light

Down provides depth to architecture through a unique system of built-in louvre. Down

consists of two elements: the luminaire housing mounted on the tile and the louvre for the

seamless finish. The seamless design is obtained through a special screwless installation

frame. This metal frame employs a simple clip system to hold the louvre. The louvres can be

oblique or perpendicular and are available in several colours.

De verschijning van het licht

Down geeft diepte aan uw architectuur via een uniek systeem van inbouw louvers. Down

bestaat uit twee onderdelen: de behuizing die op de tegel is gemonteerd en de louver voor

de naadloze afwerking. Het discrete randloze design van dit armatuur wordt benadrukt door

het speciale, schroefloze installatieframe. Dit metalen frame beschikt over een eenvoudig

kliksysteem voor het bevestigen van de louver. De afgeschuinde en rechte louvers zijn

Aplis

Circular integration

Recessed spotlights are largely used by specifiers due to their flexibility and overall discreet

appearance. Aplis’ mechanism widely fulfils these expectations. A combined movement of

rotation and angular adjustment coexist with dedicated optics. With a vertical drop of 50mm

and an inclination of 30°, the luminaire can be adjusted to direct light where required.

Ronde integratie

Ingebouwde verlichting word door lichtplanners en architecten veelvuldig gebruikt omdat

ze de flexibiliteit van projectoren combineren met een discreet uitzicht. Aplis voldoet aan

alle gestelde eisen met een complexe beweging van rotatie en translatie welke het mogelijk

maakt om de terugliggende optiek manueel te oriënteren met een maximale lichtopbrengst.

De oriëntatie van 30° in combinatie met het doorzakken van de optiek met 50mm maakt het

mogelijk om Aplis te gebruiken voor het uitlichten van zowel objecten als verticale wanden.

Architecture washed with light

Side’s design is driven by two basic functions: light control through an asymmetric reflector

and illuminance with minimal glare. Pure and simple lines deliver a minimalist appearance

that discreetly enhances architecture. Side can be used as a floor or ceiling washlight and is

supplied with satin anodised eflector.

Architectuur wordt lichtactief

Het ontwerp van Side wordt gekenmerkt door twee basisfuncties: lichtbeheersing door een

asymetrische reflector en verlichting met een minimale verblinding. Pure en eenvoudige lijnen

Wendbaar licht

Dankzij het gyroscopische principe kan de Kwadro gemakkelijk in alle richtingen gericht

anodised aluminium profiles that support the Prologe elements. Tailor made profiles are

pre-wired and equipped according to lighting specifications. Luminaires can be recessed “in-

Line” or semi-recessed “in-Dolma”.

Met behulp van de geprefabriceerde aluminium prologe profielen, kunnen in uw Kreon

plafond 80mm brede sleuven gemaakt worden waarin lichtelementen verzonken zitten. De

op maat gemaakte profielen zijn steeds voorbekabeld en worden volgens uw lichtontwerp

Prologe 80 Ligna in-Line & in-Dolma

Graphical light

Developed in partnership with Bartenbach Lichtlabor, Ligna is a continuously luminated line

developed for Prologe extruded profiles with light outputs in excess of 50%. Crucial for

architectural lighting, the flow of the luminance is barely interrupted due to an innovative

OLDP (opalised linear de-glaring prism) optic. This optic is set back above the ceiling line

to provide an unsurpassed lit effect. Intelligent construction and modulation make tool less

assembly and installation into the Prologe profiles possible.

Grafisch licht

Ligna is een continue lichtlijn voor gebruik in Prologe profielen met een lichtrendement

van meer dan 50% en ontwikkeld in samenwerking met Bartenbach Lichtlabor. Een

innovatieve OLDP (opalised linear de-glaring prism) optiek zorgt ervoor dat de lichtlijn

nauwelijks onderbroken wordt. Het OLDP ligt verzonken in het plafond waardoor het in

Light suspended

Developed for indirect ambient lighting, Onn-Air is ideal for specific lighting applications

where soft and glare-free lighting is required. The reflector ensures a wide and homogeneous

uplight distribution. In some models, direct downlight is also available to increase the

illumination level immediately under the luminaire.

Gependeld licht

Good air quality is an essential requirement for every indoor environment. It has direct effects on

performance and health of people who use these places. To ensure optimum air quality, Kreon´s

ventilation system Vento offers a solution that is extremely efficient as well as elegant.

Vento system consists of a highly inductive ventilation element, which can be discreetly installed

between Kreon tiles. It provides draught-free and diffuse ventilation with minimum airflow. The high-

induction ventilation element ensures an optimum mixture of supply and ambient air.

The specially designed ventilation element is standard delivered in black, but any required ceiling

colour is also possible. It ensures optimum air discharge at a 45° angle, which prevents soiling on the

ceiling.

Vento system can be mounted in ceilings where high aesthetic standards are required. It is

available with a visible width of 15mm and 18mm. Our technical staff will gladly advise you

in selecting the appropriate profile.

The discharge section of Vento profile is perforated so that air enters the room through

numerous fine and individual jets (each approximately 3mm in cross section). These jets

are mainly directed into the room under an angle of 45°. Another smaller portion of jets

discharge vertically downwards. This combination stabilises the flow and fills the flow

pattern centre with air.

High induction, with the associated rapid reduction in airstream temperature, is a further

positive feature of the diffuser concept. It reduces drastically the dependence of airflow

patterns within a room on supply-air temperature and room height.

The grid has an adjustable output pattern (horizontal - vertical).

The grid is integrated into a non perforated Kreon ceiling tile and finished with the same

polyester powder coating as the tile. Upon request and depending on the tile and grid size,

Fuo Square can be mounted in a perforated tile.

and heated air. The unit is equipped with fix blades and a horizontal blow-out vertebra. Due

to an excellent swirl effect, high induction is obtained. This makes Fuo Round ideal for VAV

(variable- air-volume) applications of 100% to 25%.

The circular swivelling grid is integrated in a non perforated Kreon ceiling tile and finished with

Kreon’s climate tiles can generate healthy and comfortable climate within the room. The heat

exchange between tile and environment mainly occurs by radiation, keeping draught and

noise levels to minimum. Due to the addition of a climate module, Clima provides maximum

comfort when it comes to indoor temperature control. This module, which consists of parallel

capillary tubes, can be connected to the system using plug-in connectors.

Clima ceiling technique

The principle of Clima ceilings is to use water to transport heat out of the occupied space

- an extremely efficient technique. The volume of water needed to transport a certain

capacity of heat is 20x lower than the volume of air required for the same capacity. To

cool down or heat up a room, for instance, cold or warm tap water flows through the very

thin capillary tubes of outer diameter of 3,4mm. Clima ceilings use a clip-in or lay-on metal

ceiling panel with the cooling capacity distributed by a PP climate element glued onto the

backside. Seen from below, Clima ceilings are visually indistinguishable from a standard

Kreon ceiling tile.

Radiation and perceived comfort

The reasons for frequent heat loads in offices are easily recognisable: solar gain and

heat generated by machinery, light fittings, computers and people. Regarding the latter,

the human body has a very short temperature tolerance and is constantly outputting

thermal energy into the environment. It burns calories when it is cold and, when it is hot,

it releases heat in three ways: radiation, evaporation (sweating) and convection. The main

way human body releases excess heat is by radiation (50%): it radiates heat to cooler

surfaces. For instance, if cold surfaces are created in a room, human bodies cool down

naturally by loosing heat to these surface. Clima ceilings are able to provide appropriate

cold surfaces in order to achieve such cooling comfort. Clima firmly opposes to traditional

air-conditioning in which cold air is delivered in an extremely large quantity leading users to

have a very uncomfortable feeling and to excessively cool down.

Clima plafond technieken

Het werkingsprincipe van een Clima plafond is gebaseerd op warmteafvoer uit de ruimte

met behulp van water – een zeer efficiënte techniek. Het watervolume dat nodig is voor de

afvoer van de warmte is 20 maal kleiner dan het volume lucht dat nodig is voor eenzelfde

koelingcapaciteit. Voor de koeling of verwarming van kamers, stroomt er koud of warm

water door de zeer dunne capillaire leidingen met een buitendiameter van 3.4mm. Het

Clima systeem bestaat uit een Clip-in of een Lay-on metalen plafondsysteem waarbij een

PP koelingelement op de achterzijde verlijmd wordt. Hierdoor zijn Clima plafonds langs de

zichtbare zijde niet te onderscheiden van standaard Kreon plafonds.

Straling en waargenomen comfort

De warmtebronnen in kantoren zijn makkelijk herkenbaar: zonnewarmte en warmte opgewekt

door machines, verlichting, computers en mensen. Het menselijke lichaam kent een beperkte

temperatuurstolerantie en wisselt steeds warmte uit met zijn omgeving. Het verbrandt

calorieën wanneer het koud is en geeft op drie manieren warmte af wanneer het warm is:

via warmte-uitstraling, verdamping (zweten) en convectie. Het lichaam verliest zijn warmte

vooral door straling (50%) waarbij warmte naar koudere oppervlakken wordt afgegeven.

Wanneer er in een ruimte een koud oppervlak wordt gecreëerd, koelt het lichaam af door

warmte naar dit oppervlak uit te stralen. Clima plafondsystemen zorgen voor dit noodzakelijke

koude oppervlak om zo een comfortabele koeling te creëren. Hierin verschilt Clima sterk

met traditionele airconditioning systemen waarbij koude lucht in grote hoeveelheden wordt

aangevoerd. Dit creëert een onaangenaam gevoel en kan lijden tot een te sterke afkoeling.

The output of Clima ceiling is mainly based on radiation. It gently cools or warms

occupants and objects rather than the air itself.

Clima ceiling panels provide 60% radiant and 40% convective output effect in the total

output. Heat generated in the environment moves upwards and, in contact with the metal

ceiling, raises water temperature level inside cooling system itself by 2 – 3K. The exceeding

warm water is removed through a simple flow and return system.

Due to large exchange surfaces, considerable amounts of energy can be transferred

without draughts and noise, even in cases of minor temperature differences between

active ceiling and room air.

The ratio of active panels (those with Clima elements) to passive can be varied according

to the thermal load. Should the concentration of occupancy change, additional active

panels can be added accordingly.

Clima ceiling panels can be either plain or perforated, fitted with an acoustic inlay to

provide acoustic absorption and attenuation performances.

Clima ceilings are available in a wide range of modular sizes and design options to suit

various building planning grids and specific aesthetic criteria.

Clima ceiling heating capacity

For heating purposes, warm water with a temperature between 28°C and 30°C flows

through the capillary elements. The ceiling surface temperature is of approximately 27° on

the active side. Even during the heating phase, radiation energy from human skin (surface

temperature about 32°C) is already discharged to the ceiling.

Studies have demonstrated that, with a capacity of approx. 30-40W/m², no losses to

comfort are expected when the ceiling is working as heating system.

Clima output gegevens.

De werking van Clima plafonds is hoofdzakelijk gebaseerd op straling. In plaats van de lucht

worden vooral personen en objecten rechtsreeks en op een aangename wijze verwarmd

of afgekoeld. De warmteoverdracht van een Clima plafond bestaat voor 60 % uit straling

en voor 40 % uit convectie. Doordat de warmte die in de ruimte wordt gecreëerd stijgt en

hierdoor in contact komt het metalen plafond, stijgt de warmte in het Clima plafond met 2-3K.

Dit opgewarmde water wordt afgevoerd door een eenvoudig “flow and return” systeem.

Omwille van de grote oppervlakte van het plafond, kan een aanzienlijke hoeveelheid

aan energie uitgewisseld worden zonder tocht of lawaai. Er is slechts een beperkt

temperatuursverschil tussen het geactiveerde plafond en omgevingslucht.

De verhouding tussen de standaardtegels en de tegels die geactiveerd zijn met het Clima

systeem kan worden aangepast in functie van de benodigde capaciteit. Indien op termijn de

invulling of het gebruik van de ruimte wijzigt, kunnen er steeds extra geactiveerde panelen

toegevoegd worden.

Zowel geperforeerde als niet geperforeerde tegels kunnen van het Clima systeem voorzien

worden. Het Clima systeem kan ook gemonteerd worden op tegels met akoestische panelen.

De elementen zijn in een ruim gamma aan modulaire maten en modellen beschikbaar zodat

Clima makkelijk kan voldoen aan de eisen die de architectuur stelt.

Clima verwarmingscapaciteit

Bij verwarmingstoepassingen stroomt er water tussen 28°C en 30°C door de capillaire

elementen. De oppervlakte temperatuur van het plafond is aan de actieve zijde ongeveer

27°C.

Zelfs tijdens het verwarmen van de ruimte zal de warmte van de menselijke huid (ongeveer

32°C) uitgestraald worden naar het plafond.

Studies hebben aangetoond dat bij het verwarmen van de ruimtes via het plafond met een

capaciteit van ongeveer 30-40W/m² er geen comfort verliezen waarneembaar zijn.

For cooling purposes, the ceiling surface temperature depends on the supplied

temperature: approx. 19°C at only 2 to 3K, spreading between supply (15°C to 17°C) and

return (17 °C to 19°C). Cooling capacities up to 83 W/m² can be achieved.

Supply and ceiling surface temperature (approx. 4-5°C higher than the supply

temperature) are limited by the dew point temperature. It is important that any surface

is kept at least 1°C above the dew point temperature of the room (e.g; with an air

temperature of 25°C and a relative humidity RH of 50%, the dew point temperature is

14,1°C). Exceeding the dew point temperature rarely occurs in practice because cooling

ceilings are frequently combined with a supporting ventilation plant. This is mandatory

in order to provide all users with the minimum required volume of fresh air as well as to

extract occurring material loads. Relative humidity RH is controlled by ventilation and

maintained comfortable for users and yet non critical to the dew point (aprox. 50%RH).

Clima koelingcapaciteit

Bij koelingtoepassingen hangt de oppervlakte temperatuur af van de aangevoerde

temperatuur. Deze is ongeveer 19°C met een minimaal verschil van slechts 2K tot 3K tussen

het aangevoerde (15°C tot 17°C) en afgevoerde water (17°C tot 19°C). Koelingcapaciteiten

tot 83W/m² kunnen bereikt worden.

De aangevoerde temperatuur en de oppervlakte temperatuur (ongeveer 4-5°C hoger dan

de aangevoerde temperatuur) zijn beperkt door de dauwpunt temperatuur. Het is belangrijk

dat de temperatuur van elk oppervlak minimaal 1°C hoger ligt dan de dauwpunt temperatuur

van de ruimte. (bijvoorbeeld: bij een luchttemperatuur en een relatieve vochtigheid RH van

50%, is de dauwpunt temperatuur 14.1°C) In praktijk gebeurt het slechts zelden dat de

dauwpunt temperatuur bereikt wordt omdat ruimtes meestal ook voorzien worden van een

ondersteunende ventilering installatie. Deze extra installatie is vereist opdat de ruimte van

voldoende verse lucht voorzien wordt. De relatieve vochtigheid RV wordt met behulp van

ventilatie onder controle gehouden zodat deze steeds rond de 50% schommelt, wat een

comfortabele waarde en niet kritisch ten opzichte van het dauwpunt is.

Kreon ceiling solutions can maximize the free height of a room: elevated floors can be

Specifications

1. 1. Sub-construction specifications

A ‘clip-in system’ existing out of a primary and secondary structure in which the panels

are clipped.

The clip-in profiles are a roll formed double-walled T-shaped profile (H 25mm x flange width

18mm) out of 0,5mm hot-dipped galvanised steel (DX51D+Z140MA), in accordance to

standards EN10142n EN 10143 and EN 10147.

The primary supporting profile is attached to the structure every 1200mm.

The secondary profiles, identical to the primary profiles, are connected to the latter at right

angles with a specially developed cross-connector.

All small sub-construction parts are made out of hot-dipped galvanised steel.

The tolerances and technical specifications of the complete system are in accordance with the

European standard EN13964.

2. Metal tiles specifications

All tiles are manufactured out of minimum 0,5-mm-thick galvanised steel according to the

standards EN10142, EN10143 and EN10147 and with a minimum zinc coating of 50 g/m².

Tiles are manufactured in conformity with EN13964, BS 8290, AFNOR NFP 68-203-1, DIN

18168 and the TAIM directive.

The four sides of the tiles have clip ridges enabling mounting on clip-in profiles.

The versatility of metal allows the layout of a wide range of modular and non-modular sizes

and edge profiles.

Whilst square and rectangular shaped tiles are most common, other geometric forms are

also possible.

Shadow joints of tiles are of 6mm wide and 8mm deep. All folding corners are formed with a

maximum internal radius of 1mm.

For design purposes the weight per square meter is approximately of 6kg/m² (excluding infills).

The plenum can easily be reached by removing the clip-in tiles with a specially designed tool

supplied by Kreon.

3. Paint finishing

The surface coating process used by Kreon makes every product corrosion resistant, dirt

repellent and extremely durable.

Polyester powder provides a superior resilient finish with a paint thickness of minimum 60µ.

Kreon has developed two unique shades of grey and white: Kreon metallic grey has an extra

low gloss (gloss 9%) and Kreon white, with texture inspired by ‘stucco’ with a low gloss

of 6%.

Both colours are extremely exclusive and enhance the interface between ceilings and floors.

The low degree of sheen generates a depth effect and grants a relaxing atmosphere.

Other colours are available upon request.

During the production process, the colour quality is continuously measured in accordance

with ISO 7742-2 (ASTM E38) and ISO 7724-3 (ASTM D2240) with a possible colour deviation

of ΔE ≤ 1. The ΔE level is measured with a light intensity of III-D65.

4. Perforation pattern and filler

Perforated panels have circular openings of diameter 2,5mm (spacing 5,5mm x 5,5mm) and

open space of 16%. Other perforation patterns are available upon request.

Non-perforated border can also be delivered upon request.

Perforated tiles are supplied with acoustic soundtex of thickness 0,2mm, glued in final

position during manufacturing process.

5. Integration

Kreon provides a modular system in which different techniques such as lighting, ventilation

and cooling are combined in a very compact layer.

All techniques can be discreetly and conveniently integrated in advance: seamlessly built into

the tiles, they can be painted in the same colour of the ceiling.

Kreon offers a wide range of integrated light fittings. All fittings are built into the tiles and

are ready to be plugged in (220-240V), bulbs included, a 3-metre cable and a plug GST 18/3

(male and female).

Cut-outs for integration of onsite techniques can be provided in all shapes upon request.

6. Acoustics

Sound absorption ratio αw (conform ISO 354) is in-between 0,5 and 0,75, depending on the

perforation pattern. Reports are available on request.

For sound insulation, different product tests are made in accordance with EN 20354, ISO

140-3, ISO 140-9, ISO 717-1 and NBN S 01-400. Depending on the applied insulation, values

up to 43dB can be reached. Reports are available on request.

7. Fire stability and reaction

Fire stability: Kreon ceiling system is tested conform NBN 713.020. The stability achieves

44 minutes.

Fire reaction: tested conform EN 13501-1, Kreon ceiling system achieves class A2-s1, d0 (non

perforated) and A2-s2,d0 (perforated).

8. Edge finishing

Kreon offers different types of finishing profiles for edges and concealment of backside

structures, such as c-wall profiles (H=35mm, W=20mm), edge covers, W-profiles, etc.

Edge profiles are manufactured out of minimum 0,5-mm-thick galvanised steel according

to EN10142, EN10143 and EN10147 standards, with minimum zinc coating of 50 g/m² and

powder coated in the same colour and circumstances as the metal ceiling.

Custom made edge solutions can be provided upon request.

9. Cutting and shaping

Metal products are easily cut and shaped with standard tools such as electric shears, tin

snips, hand guillotines or fine tooted saws. Portable site equipment such as band saws

may also be appropriate. It is advisable to paint cut edges of tiles should the environment

conditions exceed normality. Please kindly refer to our technical department whether this

occurs.

2. Metalen tegels specificaties

Alle tegels worden gemaakt uit minimaal 0.5mm dik gegalvaniseerd staal conform aan de

standaarden EN10142, EN10143 en EN10147 en met een minimum zink coating van 50g/m².

De tegels worden gefabriceerd in overeenstemming met EN13964, BS8290, AFNOR NFP 60-

203-1, DIN 18168 en TAIM directive.

De vier zijden van de tegel hebben klemnokken waarmee de tegels in de Clip-in profielen

worden geklikt. De verscheidenheid aan vormmogelijkheden in metaal laat een wijd gamma

aan modulaire en niet modulaire maten en randafwerkingen toe.

Hoewel vierkante en rechthoekige vormen het meest voor de handliggend zijn, zijn ook andere

geometrische vormen mogelijk.

De zichtbare tegelrand is zo gevormd dat er tussen de tegels in alle richtingen een

schaduwvoeg ontstaat van 6mm breed en 8mm diep. Alle geplooide hoeken zijn gevormd met

een maximale interne radius van 1mm. Omwille van het ontwerp zal het gewicht per vierkante

meter ongeveer 6kg/m² bedragen.

Het plenum kan bereikt worden door de Clip-in tegels te verwijderen met behulp van speciaal

hiervoor ontwikkeld hulpstuk. Dit kan geleverd worden door Kreon.

3. Lak afwerking

De oppervlaktebehandeling die Kreon gebruikt zorgt ervoor dat elk product

corrosiebestendig, vuilafstotend en extreem duurzaam wordt.

De polyester poedercoating zorgt voor een zeer krasbestendige afwerking met een minimale

dikte van 60µ. Kreon heeft een uniek grijs en wit ontwikkeld. Kreon metallic grijsheeft een

extreem lage glansgraad (glans 9%) en Kreon wit , geïnspireerd op stucwerk, een glansgraad

van 6%.

Beide kleuren zorgen voor een exclusief plafond en versterken de dialoog tussen plafond

en vloer.

De lage glansgraad creëert een diepte-effect en zorgt voor een rustige ruimte.

Andere kleuren zijn verkrijgbaar op aanvraag.

Tijdens het productieproces wordt de kleurkwaliteit constant gemeten zodat deze steeds

is overeenstemming is met ISO 7742-2 (ASTM E38) en ISO 7724-3 (ASTM D2240) met een

mogelijk kleurafwijking van ΔE ≤ 1. De ΔE waarde wordt gemeten met een licht intensiteit

van III-D65.

4. Perforatie patroon en opvulling

De geperforeerde panelen hebben ronde openingen van 2.5mm (onderlinge afstand 5.5mm x

5.5mm) en 16% open oppervlakte. Andere perforatiepatronen zijn op aanvraag mogelijk. Een

niet geperforeerde rand kan aangevraagd worden.

De geperforeerde tegels worden voorzien van een akoestisch soundtex membraan met een

dikte van 0.2mm. Dit membraam wordt tijdens de productie op de tegel gelijmd.

5. Integratie

Kreon biedt een modulair systeem met hierin verschillende technieken zoals verlichting ,

ventilatie en koeling gecombineerd tot een compacte laag.

Alle technieken worden op een discrete en optimale wijze geïntegreerd. Alle technieken

worden randloos in de tegels geplaatst en in dezelfde kleur gelakt. Hierdoor worden de

technieken een integraal onderdeel van het plafond.

Kreon biedt een wijd gamma aan geïntegreerde verlichtingsarmaturen. Alle armaturen zijn

voorgemonteerd in de tegel en installatieklaar (220V-240V), inclusief lampen, 3m kabel en een

GST 18/3 stekker (mannelijk en vrouwelijk)

6. Akoestiek

-De geluidsabsorptiewaarde αw (conform ISO 354) bevindt zich tussen 0.5 en 0.75, afhankelijk

van het perforatiepatroon. Documentatie is op aanvraag beschikbaar.

-Voor geluidsisolatie zijn er verschillende testen conform EN20354, ISO 140-3, ISO 140-9,

ISO 717-1 en NBN S 01-400 uitgevoerd. Afhankelijk van de gebruikte isolatie, kunnen er

waarden to 43dB bereikt worden. Documentatie is op aanvraag beschikbaar.

7. Brandstabiliteit en reactie

-Brandstabiliteit:

Het Kreon plafond systeem is getest conform NBN 713.020. De stabiliteit bereikt 44min.

-Brandreactie:

Brandreactie is getest conform EN13501-1, het Kreon plafond voldoet aan klasse A2-s1,d0.

8. Randafwerking

Kreon biedt verschillende profielen aan voor de afwerking van randen en de onderliggende

structuur. Deze afwerking kan bestaan uit C-wall profielen (H=35mm, W=20mm),

Edge covers, W-profielen,…

De randafwerkingsprofielen worden gemaakt gegalvaniseerd staal met een minimale dikte

van 0.5mm, conform aan de normen EN10142, EN10143 en EN10147 en met een zink coating

van 50g/m², en gepoederlakt is zelfde kleur en afwerking als het metalen plafond.

Op maat gemaakte randafwerkingen zijn op aanvraag mogelijk.

9. Op maat knippen en vormen.

Metalen producten kunnen eenvoudig op maat geknipt en gevormd worden met standaard

gereedschappen zoals elektrische scharen, plaatscharen of fijn vertande zagen. Draagbare

werfgereedschappen zoals lintzagen kunnen ook gebruikt worden. De gesneden randen van

de tegels dienen behandeld te worden inden de omgevingsomstandigheden dit vereisen.

Kreon ceilings are designed to match the requirements of any room function, achieved by

the large variety of integrated products and their aesthetic design possibilities. Colour and

perforation can be chosen to suit the room, in order to enhance its architecture and

sound performances. Some luminaire modules offer a choice of ballasts to suit the required

lighting control system, or allow for the integration of an emergency lighting system.

provides a list of accessories available for each model.

Het gebruik van een Kreon plafond geeft u de mogelijkheid om uw plafond volledig af

te stemmen in functie van uw ruimte. Niet alleen door het groot aantal toepassingen die

geïntegreerd kunnen worden, maar ook de vormgeving ervan. Kleur en perforatie kunnen

in functie van het interieur gekozen worden zodat de architectuur en geluids performantie

nog beter tot hun recht komen. In sommige toestellen kan ook de VSA in functie van uw

lichtsturingssysteem gekozen worden of kan er een noodverlichtingmodule geïntegreerd

Article 1 - Coming into existence and draft of the agreementThe vendor's quotations shall be for information only and shall be furnished without engagement.All prices are expressed in euro / €. The purchaser's orders shall be in writing and shall be irrevocable. Orders shall only be binding on the vendor, if the latter shall have accepted them in writing. The purchaser shall peruse the vendor's acceptance and inform the vendor of any discrepancy. If any such possible non-conformity shall not be reported within three (3) days of the date appearing on the confirmation of order, the confirmation of order shall be assumed to be correct. Orders shall moreover be subject to the suspensive condition of the ordered goods being still in stock. The present conditions shall form an integral part of any agreements concluded between the vendor and the purchaser. The said conditions shall likewise apply to occasional supplies and services. Orders diverging from the present General Conditions of Sale shall only be binding on the vendor after the express written acceptance of the relevant divergent stipulations. Customers' and suppliers' own conditions, to which references may appear in documents, shall not be accepted. If the vendor's confidence in the purchaser's creditworthiness shall have been shaken by the institution of legal action against the purchaser and/or other events, which shall question the prospect of correct compliance with the undertakings entered into by the purchaser, or which shall render that compliance impossible, the vendor shall be entitled to suspend all or a part of the delivery of the order and to call for the provision of a suitable caution by the purchaser. If the latter shall refuse to provide the said caution, the vendor shall be entitled to cancel all or a part of the order, the vendor's right to claim damages remaining unaffected. If an order shall cover several deliveries, the vendor shall have the irrefutable legal presumption that each delivery is to be regarded as forming part of a separate contract. Consequently, any disputes concerning the performance of the obligations of the vendor in relation to a specific delivery shall not affect the rest of the order, so that the purchaser shall not be able to invoke any dispute in relation to the delivery as an excuse for refusing to accept other deliveries. The headings of the articles of the present General Conditions are purely indicative.

Article 2 - DeliveriesDelivery promises stated in order vouchers or in confirmations of order shall not be binding on the vendor and are given for indication only. Any possible delays shall not in any circumstances confer on the purchaser a right to claim damages, or to cancel the order and/or the agreement, unless specifically otherwise agreed. The goods shall be delivered exclusively on ground level. Our goods are sold, collected from and paid at our warehouses. Unless expressly otherwise stated, the shipping costs shall in all cases be for the account of the purchaser. Unless otherwise agreed, delivery shall take place at the establishment of the vendor. If delivery shall be effected by the vendor, the risk shall be the purchaser's and the costs shall be invoiced to the latter. In the event of shipment, the purchaser shall give instructions concerning the carrier and the route. In the absence of such instructions, the vendor shall be entitled to make a relevant decision and to make part-shipments.If the purchaser shall not collect the goods on the agreed date or shall decline to accept them when they are being delivered, the vendor shall be entitled to demand the purchaser's compliance with his obligations, as well as the dissolution ipso jure of the agreement and damages from the purchaser equal to 30 % of the selling price, apart from any other remedies available to him' the vendor. The risk and cost of storage of goods waiting to be collected or delivered shall devolve on the purchaser.

Article 3 - Conformity, visible and hidden flawsUnless otherwise agreed, complaints concerning non-conformity and visible and hidden flaws of the goods sold shall be made and duly documented by registered letter sent to the vendor within two (2) days of delivery. The purchaser shall show within the said period that the visible flaws and/or non-conformity found by him were present at the moment of the collection or the delivery. After the lapse of this period, the goods shall be deemed as definitely accepted by the purchaser. Complaints concerning hidden flaws shall only be acceptable, if reported to the vendor by registered letter and duly documented, not later than six (6) months of the date of delivery and within eight (8) days of the coming to light of the flaw in question. The vendor hereby only undertakes to replace or repair parts found by him, the vendor, to be defective, to the exclusion of any other compensation for direct or indirect prejudice. The warranty on hidden flaws shall lapse in the event of other than the normal utilisation, the poor maintenance, or a modification of the goods by the purchaser, their disassembly or their repair by an unqualified person. The existence of complaints shall not relieve the purchaser of his obligation to pay the vendor's invoices by their due date of payment. All stated dimensions and weights are merely approximate.

Article 4 - Prices and paymentsAll prices shall be "ex Works" prices, unless expressly otherwise agreed in writing and shall exclude costs of transport, insurance, packing, import and export Customs duties, installation and assembly and the like.Any increase in Customs duties, VAT, social insurance contributions, raw material prices, energy costs, changes of rates of exchange and any other costs and taxes applicable to the sale and taking place after the coming into existence of the agreement, shall be for the account of the purchaser. The vendor's invoices shall be payable at the company's registered office within 30 (30) days. They shall be payable in cash, unless otherwise agreed in writing. This stipulation shall remain unaffected by drawing bills of exchange, which never yield novation. In the event of non-payment of a bill of exchange or non-payment on a due date, any other sums owed shall become payable immediately. Payments received shall only be credited by the vendor following the payment of any due interest and/or damages and subsidiary following the payment of the principal sum. In the event of non-payment on the due date of sums owed, the vendor shall be legally entitled without prior notice to charge interest for late payment at the rate of 1 % a month on any sums owed on the due date, a part of a month counting as a full month. Any discounts allowed shall lapse in the event of late payment. In addition and notwithstanding any interest due, a flat rate compensation at the rate of 10 % of the invoiced sum shall be payable without prior notice. In the absence of the payment of an invoice on the due date of payment, all other invoices of the vendor to the purchaser shall become payable immediately without prejudice to the vendor's right to seek other legal remedies. The vendor shall likewise be entitled to claim the reimbursement of other costs such as the collection charges and legal costs and attorneys' fees, which the vendor shall have incurred on external and internal legal steps for collection, as well as expenses connected with unpaid bills of exchange.

General Conditions of Sale and Delivery

Article 5 - Transfer of ownership, right of ownership and explicit suspensive conditionsThe vendor shall retain his right of ownership of all models, factory and trademarks, patents, drawings and sketches and other intellectual property rights relating to products and to services furnished. The right of ownership of the goods and all accessories sold shall only be transferred to the purchaser, when they have been paid in full, including the principal sum and any interest and costs due. For as long as the vendor shall retain his right of ownership of the goods supplied according to the stipulations of the present clause, the purchaser shall continue to be responsible for the safekeeping of the said goods. The purchaser shall hereby undertake to insure the goods against all risks. The purchaser shall moreover not modify, lease, pledge, sell, or encumber the goods in any other way.If the purchaser shall sell the goods before the right of ownership has been transferred to him, the purchaser shall accept that the income from the sale shall revert solely to the vendor and the said income shall be kept by the purchaser separately from his general funds. Any on-account payments made by the purchaser shall be reserved to the vendor to cover any losses sustained by the latter on the resale of the said goods. Notwithstanding the clause relating to the right of ownership, all risks shall be transferred to the purchaser on the conclusion of the agreement. In the event of the seizure of goods for security or in the event of distress or any other possible impairment of the vendor's right of ownership, the purchaser shall be under an obligation to report the fact to the vendor within 24 hours on pain of incurring liability, as well as to report the vendor's reservation of title immediately to the third parties involved. The purchaser hereby guarantees that in that event he shall immediately give sight to the third parties involved of the agreement concluded between himself and the vendor. If the purchaser shall neglect to comply with his obligations, the vendor shall have the right to cancel the sale without notification and by informing the purchaser by registered letter. The purchaser shall then return the goods to the vendor within 24 hours. If he shall not comply with that obligation, the vendor shall be entitled to adopt legal steps to repossess the goods after the aforementioned space of time shall have elapsed. In addition, the vendor shall be entitled to flat rate damages of 10 % of the purchase price, unless a greater prejudice shall be proved.

Article 6 - Liability of the vendor, force majeureIf the vendor shall be unable to comply with any of his obligations, he shall not be liable if he can prove that the said failure to comply was due to circumstances beyond his control, which he was unable to foresee, to avoid or to overcome when concluding the agreement. There follows a non-exhaustive summary of the circumstances, which have been accepted by both parties:- any modification of the factory price, the raw material price, of the rate of exchange, of the rate of exchange of foreign currencies for which the goods or parts thereof are bought, and a general modification of all elements which determine the purchase price whereby the said purchase price shall rise by more than 10 % between the date of the conclusion of the agreement and the delivery of the goods in accordance with the present conditions;- non-delivery by the vendor's manufacturers or suppliers;- acts of the government, prohibition of exports, imports or transit, strikes, disturbances, war or the threat of war, mobilisation and adverse weather conditions;- interruption of supplies or transport, machine breakdown, fire, labour shortage, transport problems or obstructions resulting in performance being delayed or seriously aggravated, or the costs of performance shall rise by over 10 %;- any measures which delay or hinder international trade.The liability of the vendor shall always be limited to the value of the faulty goods. The vendor shall not be able to be made liable for any other direct or indirect prejudice such as loss of sales.

Article 7 - RepairsIn respect of repairs, the vendor's liability shall only apply within the limits of the stipulations of article 3 of the present General Conditions.

Article 8 - WaiverThe non-enforcement by the vendor of one or more of the conditions of the present General Conditions shall not be able to be interpreted as a waiver of the said conditions.

Article 9 - Unforeseeable circumstancesThe vendor hereby reserves the right to make an adjustment of the agreement or of the price in the event of the emergence of unforeseeable circumstances.

Article 10 - Applicable law and jurisdictionAny agreements concluded between the vendor and the purchaser shall be governed by Belgian law.Any disputes shall exclusively be laid before the Courts of the district of Tongeren.

Artikel 1 - Totstandkoming en voorwerp van de overeenkomst De offertes die uitgaan van de verkoper hebben een louter informatief karakter en worden aangegaan zonder enige verbintenis. Alle prijzen zijn in EURO / €. Bestellingen door de koper dienen schriftelijk te gebeuren en zijn onherroepelijk. Bestellingen zijn slechts bindend voor de verkoper als hij de bestelling aanvaard heeft door middel van schriftelijk orderbevestiging. De koper dient de bevestiging door te nemen en de verkoper onmiddellijk op de hoogte te stellen van eventuele discrepanties. Indien de eventuele non-conformiteit niet gemeld is binnen de drie (3) dagen na datum van de orderbevestiging, wordt de orderbevestiging vermoed identiek te zijn aan de bestelling van de koper. Bestellingen worden bovendien bevestigd onder de opschortende voorwaarde dat de bestelde goederen nog in voorraad zijn. Onderhavige voorwaarden maken integraal deel uit van alle overeenkomsten gesloten tussen de verkoper en de koper. Deze voorwaarden zijn ook van toepassing op occasionele leveringen en diensten. Bestellingen die afwijken van deze algemene verkoopsvoorwaarden verbinden de verkoper slechts na uitdrukkelijke schriftelijke aanvaarding van de afwijkende bepalingen. De eigen voorwaarden van opdrachtgevers en leveranciers waarnaar deze in hun geschriften mochten verwijzen, worden niet aanvaard. Indien het vertrouwen van de verkoper in de kredietwaardigheid van de koper geschokt wordt door daden van gerechtelijke uitvoering tegen de koper en/of aanwijsbare andere gebeurtenissen die het vertrouwen in de goede uitvoering van de door koper aangegane verbintenissen in vraag stellen en/of onmogelijk maken, behoudt de verkoper zich het recht voor, zelfs indien de goederen reeds geheel of gedeeltelijk werden verzonden, de gehele bestelling of een gedeelte ervan op te schorten en van de koper geschikte waarborgen te eisen. Indien de koper weigert hierop in te gaan, behoudt de verkoper zich het recht voor de gehele bestelling of een gedeelte ervan te annuleren, dit alles onverminderd de rechten van de verkoper op alle schadevergoedingen en intresten. Indien een order meerdere leveringen omvat, dan geldt ten voordele van de verkoper het onweerlegbare vermoeden dat elke levering geacht wordt deel uit te maken van een afzonderlijk contract. Bijgevolg tasten eventuele betwistingen aangaande de uitvoering van de verbintenissen van de verkoper m.b.t. één levering de rest van de bestelling niet aan, zodat de koper enige betwisting m.b.t. de levering niet kan inroepen ten einde aan zijn verplichtingen m.b.t. de andere leveringen te ontsnappen. De titels van de artikels van deze algemene voorwaarden zijn louter indicatief.

Artikel 2 - Leveringen De leveringstermijnen bepaald in de bestelbon of in de orderbevestiging zijn niet bindend voor de verkoper, en worden slechts als aanwijzing gegeven. Een eventuele vertraging geeft de koper in geen geval recht op schadevergoeding of annulering van de bestelling en/of ontbinding van de overeenkomst, behoudens uitdrukkelijk andersluidend beding. De goederen worden uitsluitend gelijkvloers geleverd. Onze koopwaren worden verkocht, afgehaald en betaald in onze magazijnen. De verzendingskosten zijn altijd ten laste van de koper, behalve wanneer het uitdrukkelijk anders vermeld is. De levering gebeurt op de vestiging van de verkoper, behoudens andersluidende afspraak. Indien de levering gebeurt door de verkoper, gebeurt dit op kosten en op risico van de koper. In geval van verscheping dient de koper instructies te geven omtrent de vervoerder en de route. Bij gebreke aan dergelijke instructies heeft de verkoper het recht om op dit vlak een beslissing te nemen. De verkoper heeft het recht gedeeltelijk te verschepen. Indien de koper de goederen niet afhaalt op de afgesproken datum of nalaat de bestelde goederen bij levering te aanvaarden heeft de verkoper de keuze tussen enerzijds de vordering tot gedwongen nakoming van de verbintenissen door de koper, en anderzijds de vordering tot ontbinding van rechtswege van de overeenkomst met de schadevergoeding verschuldigd door de koper, gelijk aan 30% van de verkoopprijs en dit zonder voorafgaande ingebrekestelling, onverminderd de overige rechten waarover de verkoper beschikt. De bewaring van de goederen in afwachting van de afhaling of de levering geschiedt op risico en kosten van de koper.

Artikel 3 - Conformiteit, zichtbare en verborgen gebreken Behoudens andersluidend beding dienen de klachten betreffende de conformiteit en de zichtbare gebreken van de verkochte goederen binnen de twee (2) dagen na de levering bij aangetekend en gemotiveerd schrijven aan de verkoper te worden meegedeeld. De koper moet binnen deze periode aantonen dat de zichtbare gebreken en/of de non-conformiteit ervan met de door hem geplaatste bestelling aanwezig waren op het ogenblik van de afhaling/levering. Na het verloop van deze periode worden de goederen geacht definitief te zijn aanvaard door de koper. Klachten in verband met verborgen gebreken zijn slechts ontvankelijk indien ze bij aangetekend en gemotiveerd schrijven ter kennis worden gebracht van de verkoper uiterlijk binnen de zes (6) maanden na de leveringsdatum, en binnen de acht (8) dagen na het vaststellen van het gebrek. De verkoper verbindt er zich enkel toe de door hem als gebrekkig erkende onderdelen te vervangen of te herstellen, met uitsluiting van alle andere tussenkomsten of vergoedingen voor rechtstreekse en/of onrechtstreekse schade. De waarborg voor verborgen gebreken vervalt in geval van abnormaal gebruik, slecht onderhoud, wijziging van de goederen door de koper, demontage of reparatie door een niet gekwalificeerd persoon. Het bestaan van klachten ontheft de koper niet van zijn verplichting de facturen van de verkoper te betalen op hun vervaldag. Alle vermelde dimensies en gewichten zijn louter approximatief.

Artikel 4 - Prijzen en betalingen Alle prijzen zijn prijzen "af fabriek", behalve indien uitdrukkelijk en schriftelijk anders overeengekomen werd. Zij gelden dus exclusief transportkosten, verzekeringskosten, verpakkingskosten, in- en uitvoertaksen, plaatsings- en montage kosten, enz. Elke verhoging van tolrechten, BTW-tarieven, sociale lasten, grondstofprijzen, energiekosten, valutakoersen, evenals van alle andere lasten en taksen toepasselijk op de verkoop, en doorgevoerd na de totstandkoming van de overeenkomst, is ten laste van de koper. De facturen uitgaande van de verkoper zijn betaalbaar op de maatschappelijke zetel binnen de dertig (30) dagen. Zij zijn contant betaalbaar, behoudens uitdrukkelijk en schriftelijk overeengekomen andersluidend beding. Aan die modaliteit wordt door het trekken van wissels, die nooit schuldvernieuwing opleveren, niets veranderd. Bij niet-betaling van een wissel of het niet nakomen van de daarvoor toegestane betalingstermijnen worden alle andere nog verschuldigde sommen onmiddellijk opeisbaar. Ontvangen betalingen worden door de verkoper eerst aangerekend op de vervallen interesten en schadevergoedingen, vervolgens op de hoofdsom van de eerst vervallen factuur. Bij niet-betaling van de verschuldigde bedragen op de vervaldag, is van rechtswege en zonder dat een voorafgaande ingebrekestelling nodig is, een nalatigheidsintrest van 1% per maand verschuldigd op de op de vervaldag niet-geïnde sommen, waarbij een gedeelte van een maand geldt als een gehele maand. De eventueel toegestane kortingen vervallen in geval van laattijdige betaling.

Algemene leveringen verkoopsvoorwaarden

Bovendien en ongeacht de verschuldigde conventionele intresten, zal in geval van laattijdige betaling van rechtswege en zonder voorafgaande ingebrekestelling een forfaitaire schadevergoeding verschuldigd zijn van 10% op het factuurbedrag. Bij gebreke aan betaling van een factuur op de vervaldag worden al de andere facturen van de verkoper op de koper onmiddellijk opeisbaar, onverminderd het recht van de verkoper zich te beroepen op andere rechten. De verkoper heeft bijkomend het recht vergoed te worden voor alle overige kosten, zoals onder meer invorderingskosten en gerechtskosten, kosten en erelonen van de advocaat waarop de verkoper een beroep dient te doen zowel voor de buitengerechtelijke als gerechtelijke stappen tot inning, evenals onkosten verbonden aan de onbetaalde wissels.

Artikel 5 - Eigendomsoverdracht, eigendomsvoorbehoud en uitdrukkelijk ontbindend beding :De verkoper behoudt het eigendomsrecht van alle modellen, fabrieks- en handelsmerken, octrooien, tekeningen en schetsen en andere intellectuele eigendomsrechten met betrekking tot de verkochte producten of geleverde diensten. Het eigendomsrecht van het verkochte goed en van al zijn toebehoren zal slechts aan de koper overgedragen worden op het ogenblik van de volledige betaling van de prijs, zowel de hoofdsom als de eventuele intresten en kosten. Zolang de verkoper volgens de bepalingen van deze clausule het eigendomsrecht heeft over de geleverde goederen, blijft de koper aansprakelijk voor het in goede staat houden van deze goederen. De koper verbindt er zich toe de goederen te verzekeren voor alle risico’s. De koper mag de geleverde goederen bovendien niet wijzigen, verhuren, in pand geven, verkopen of op enige andere wijze bezwaren. Indien de koper de goederen verkoopt vóórdat het eigendomsrecht op hem is overgegaan, aanvaardt de koper dat de inkomsten voortvloeiend uit deze vervreemding uitsluitend toekomen aan de verkoper. Die inkomsten worden door de koper afzonderlijk van zijn algemene fondsen bijgehouden. De door de koper betaalde voorschotten blijven voor de verkoper verworven ter vergoeding van de mogelijke verliezen bij wederverkoop door de verkoper. Niettegenstaande de clausule van eigendomsvoorbehoud, gaan alle risico’s over op de koper van bij de contractsluiting. In geval van bewarend of uitvoerend beslag op het goed of enige andere mogelijke aantasting van het eigendomsrecht van de verkoper, is de koper ertoe gehouden om binnen de 24 uren, op straffe van aansprakelijkheid, dit aan de verkoper te melden, alsmede onmiddellijk het eigendomsvoorbehoud van de verkoper aan de derde te melden. In deze situaties garandeert de koper dat hij de derde onverwijld inzage geeft in de tussen hem en de verkoper gesloten overeenkomst. Wanneer de koper nalaat zijn verbintenissen uit te voeren, kan de verkoop van rechtswege en zonder ingebrekestelling ontbonden worden via een aangetekend schrijven uitgaande van de verkoper. De koper zal dan het materiaal binnen de 24 uren aan de verkoper restitueren. Als hij hieraan niet voldoet, heeft de verkoper van rechtswege het recht om het materiaal in bezit te nemen na het verstrijken van hierboven vermelde termijn. Bovendien heeft de verkoper in dit geval het recht op een forfaitaire schadevergoeding van 10% van de koopprijs, behoudens bewijs van hogere schade.

Artikel 6 - Aansprakelijkheid van de verkoper - overmacht :Indien de verkoper één van zijn verplichtingen niet kan nakomen, dan is hij hiervoor niet aansprakelijk indien hij aantoont dat de tekortkoming te wijten is aan omstandigheden die hij bij het sluiten van de overeenkomst niet gehouden was in aanmerking te nemen, te vermijden of te boven te komen. Hierna volgt een opsomming van dergelijke, door partijen aanvaarde, omstandigheden. Deze opsomming is evenwel niet exhaustief : - elke wijziging van de fabrikantenprijs, van de grondstoffenprijs, van de wisselkoersverhoudingen, van de koers van vreemde munten waarin materiaal of delen van materiaal worden aangekocht, en meer in het algemeen wijzigingen van alle elementen die de aankoopprijs van de verkoper bepalen, waardoor deze aankoopprijs met meer dan 10% stijgt tussen de datum van het sluiten van de overeenkomst en de levering van de goederen conform huidige voorwaarden ;- niet-levering door fabrikanten of door de leveranciers van de verkoper ;- daden van de overheid, uitvoer-, invoer- of doorvoerverboden, stakingen, oproer, oorlog of oorlogsgedrag, mobilisaties, en weersomstandigheden ;- gebrek aan materiaal of transport, machinebreuk, brand, gebrek aan arbeidskrachten, transportmoeilijkheden of belemmeringen die tot gevolg hebben dat de uitvoering vertraagd of ernstig bemoeilijkt wordt, of de kosten van de uitvoering te verhogen met meer dan 10% ;- alle maatregelen die de internationale handel beletten, belemmeren of bezwaren.De aansprakelijkheid van de verkoper is steeds beperkt tot de waarde van de gebrekkige goederen. De verkoper kan niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld voor andere rechtstreekse of onrechtstreekse schade zoals onder meer omzetverlies.

Artikel 7 - Reparaties Ten aanzien van reparaties, geldt de waarborgverplichting van de verkoper slechts binnen de grenzen van de bepalingen van artikel 3 van onderhavige algemene voorwaarden.

Artikel 8 - Verzaking Het niet toepassen door de verkoper van één of meerdere bepalingen van huidige algemene voorwaardenkan niet als een verzaking aan deze voorwaarden worden geïnterpreteerd.

Artikel 9 - ImprevisieclausuleDe verkoper behoudt zich het recht voor om bij onvoorziene omstandigheden een aanpassing van de overeenkomst of de prijs op te leggen.

Artikel 10 - Toepasselijk recht en bevoegdheidOp alle met de verkoper gesloten overeenkomsten is het Belgisch recht van toepassing.Bij betwistingen, zijn enkel de rechtbanken van het arrondissement Tongeren bevoegd.

Kreon tools of light is a trendsetting lighting manufacturer which approaches lighting from

an architectural perspective. Light is an essential element within architecture and uses

architecture to support it. The minimalist designer fittings give rooms shape through their

play of light and shadow. Kreon tools of light incorporates its light fittings into floor, wall and
