David Naibauer has 15 years of construction experience including
10 years of design-build and CMGC project management and
estimating experience. David has been an integral part of several
design-build and CMGC projects across Colorado preparing cost
estimates and participating in constructability and value
engineering reviews. David continually seeks opportunities to
benefit each project through innovation and time- and cost-
savings.
David graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with an M.S.
in Engineering and Technology Management and a B.S. in Civil
Engineering and Economics from the Colorado School of Mines.
David has been with Kraemer for 14 years and serves as an
estimator and project manager. He served as project manager for
the Colorado Department of Transportation’s first CMGC project,
the I-70 Frontage Road Bridge CMGC in Dotsero, CO.

David serves as an estimator for Kraemer's Mountain West Region
and supports projects in all phases of cost estimating,
constructability reviews, value engineering, and procurement.
David’s 14-year tenure with Kraemer brings a wealth of overall
construction and CMGC and alternative delivery knowledge and
lessons learned to each project. Overall David has estimated more
than $390 million in total contract value for Kraemer CMGC
projects in the past 10 years.
• CDOT I-70 Frontage Road Bridge Replacement CMGC,
Dotsero, CO – $6 million. Project Manager and Estimator.
CMGC bridge replacement over the Colorado River; CDOT's
first CMGC transportation project received 2013 Project
Management Award.
• Town of Castle Rock North Meadows Extension CMGC – $61
million. Project Manager and Estimator. CMGC includes new
interchanges at I-25 and US 85.
• US Army Corps of Engineers Air Force Academy Bridge
Replacement and Repairs, Colorado Springs, CO – $4.6
million. Project Manager and Estimator. Replacement of two
bridge decks over Deadman's Creek; major substructure
repairs on Northgate and Southgate bridges.

concrete girder bridge replacement.
• River Point at Sheridan, Sheridan, CO – $4.3 million. Project Manager. Two-span bridge over the South
Platte River.
• City of Arvada Van Bibber Creek Trail Crossing, Arvada, CO – $1.5 million. Project Manager. 100-foot single
cell concrete box culvert under Ward Road.
• Silver Dollar Metro District SH 119 Retaining Wall, Black Hawk, CO – $3.9 million. Project Manager. 614-
foot cast-in-place retaining wall next to Clear Creek.
• Highway 6 Bridge Deck Replacement, Golden, CO – $2.5 million. Project Engineer. ABC fast-track
replacement of three bridge decks in 12 days using full depth precast deck panels.
• I-25 between SH 7 and Weld County Road 16, Erie, CO – $54.6 million. Project Engineer. Reconstructed
seven miles of I-25 to accommodate increased traffic flow to and from Denver and improved drainage along
the I-25 corridor.
• Bloomington Retaining Wall, Bloomington, MN – $3.35 million. Project Engineer. Constructed a 2,500-foot
retaining wall along the south side of Highway 494 in the Bloomington, MN area.
• Bryant Avenue Bridge, St. Paul, MN – $1.95 million. Project Engineer. Constructed a two-lane, three-span
bridge over one of UPRR’s major switch yards in St. Paul, MN.
