Principally for any haava* there are principal signi+cators hichare computed as follo s7

    a. Planets occupying the stars of the occupantsOf a bhaava are the most important and strongest signi cators

The occupants of the Bhaava These planets come ne2t in the order of signi+cators. 9f anyplanet occupying a haava has no planets deposited in itsstars* then the occupant itself ecomes a strong signi+cator of that haava. Also note that* in every case* if either or oth of the nodesrepresent any ruling planets in the a ove list* then the >ode shoulde considered as a ruling planet. 9n fact* as said in an earlier article*a node is more po erful than the planet it represents and can eincluded 8instead of8 the concerned planet.

    >o event in this orld* including the thin ing of human eings ise2empt from the in4uence of planets. 5uru6i has said 8BuddhiKarmaanusaarini8* i.e.* the mind of a person or s as per his Karmaand the thoughts that arise are a conse&uence of the armic urdenhich everyone carries. Thus in orary Astrology* hen someoneutters a num er for a &uestion heJshe poses* the num er isin4uenced y the collective planetary in4uences at that time* hichin turn is dependent on the Karmic urden of the individual.

Thus hile assessing almost every &uestion in Krishnamurtipaddhati

one should ma e use of the ruling planets. 9n some cases* hen the&uerist' urge to as a &uestion is very strong or the astrologer getsa very po erful urge to ans er a &uery* 5uru6i has said that oneneed not consider anything other than the ruling planets at themoment to analy e the matter at hand. 9n all cases* ithout fail* ifthe urge is sincere and the intent is enign* the ruling planets illguide the receptive astrologer in understanding and 6udging apro lem.

    1limination of /uling Planets7

3hen deciding the time of an event* one considers the rulingplanets. 9f one is 6udging a horary chart* then one should ta e theplanets hich are common et een the signi+cators of the matterconcerned and also the ruling planets at the time of 6udgment.o ever* one must e2ercise caution in this. Those ruling planetshich are in the star of a retrograde planet or in the su of aretrograde planet* have to e re6ected as they never vote for thepositive result in any manner. o ever* if a ruling planet is itselfretrograde* ut is in the star and su of a planet in direct motion*then one need not re6ect the same. But one should note that theretrograde planet ill not give favora le results until it ecomes

direct again and also crosses the point at hich it turnedretrograde. or e2ample* if Fupiter is retrograde on a given date andit as in $# ;i ra !# hen it started retrograding* then one has toait for the time until Fupiter resumes direct motion and alsocrosses $# ;i ra !# for it to give favora le results. FyotishyaDeepi a ma es it possi le to get this information at the push of autton. Mou may select a planet hich is retrograde and get to nohen the planet turned retrograde and hat its longitude as at

  • 8/9/2019 KP_notes

    12/23

that time. Mou ill also get information on hen the planet resumesdirect motion and across the point of retro gradation .

Also one should note that ruling planets hich are detrimental tothe matters signi+ed y a haava have to e eliminated as they do

not give positive results. Thus if one is 6udging the results of the$#th haava and one +nds that the % of the planets among theruling planets at the time 6udgment are signi+cators of the =thhaava* then these t o planets have to e eliminated in 6udging theresults.

Use of /uling Planets in /ectifying Birth Time7

Professor Shri K.S.Krishnamurti6i has noted that the planets rulingthe time of 6udgment ill e among the ruling planets at the time of irth of an individual. This simple rule helps us to rectify irth times

accurately. Fyotishya Deepi a Ultimate implements this rule andma es it easy for you to rectify irth times ased on the rulingplanets at the time of 6udgment. 3e ill study more of Birth Time/ecti+cation in another article in this reference.

Thus* to conclude* ruling planets are a vital tenet ofKrishnamurtipaddhati and every &uery should e 6udged afterta ing these into consideration.

and $# for marriage. This is one of the most important methods ofeliminating planets hich are 8merely tempters and not realsigni+cators8.

(Strong signi+cator means , PlanetJs in the star of haavaoccupantJs* or* if there are no planets in its stars* the haavaoccupant itself* or if the haava is empty (no occupant)* then theplanetJs in the o ners' starJs* or* if again there are no planets in theo ner's starJs the o ner himself , please remem er* theseconditions are mutually e2clusive. This is a rule reiterated y manyillustrious scholars of KP Astrology in many of their articles andoo s)

%. The second principle in order to eliminate the ea planets is yconsidering the ruling planets. ere again* you have to select the

ruling planets hich are deposited in the SUB of such a planet hichis a strong signi+cator of the haava matter concerned. Again theplanetJs hich represent %* - or $$ and $* " or $# (this is only forthe marriage e2ample and for other matters* consider therespective representative houses and their negation houses) haveto e re6ected outright as they al ays do harm to the matter athand and never good.

9t may ecome necessary to apply one or oth of the a oveprinciples depending on the num er of planets you get assigni+cators. Please remem er* >;M Strong Signi+cators truly

indicate the fructi+cation of the event and are crucial in timing anevent. The 8 ea signi+cators8 only fortify the event and may helpto ring it to completion. But the event should and ill al aysmateriali e in the Dasha* Bhu ti Antara of the Strong Signi+catorJs.

    a) 9f a planet A occupies the 99 Bhaava and B and C are in the Star ofA* then B and C are the 8Strongest Signi+cators of Bhaava 998.) 9f the condition in (a) is true* then the planet A itself hich is theoccupant of the 99 Bhaava* is rendered only a ea signi+cator ofthe haava. o ever* that does not mean that planet A ill never

contri ute to the haava matters or the results of 99 Bhaava nevermateriali e during the period governed y planet A. But to time anevent* e should consider only planets B and C in the +rst place inpreference to A. Please ear in mind that planet A still gives theresult of the haava it occupies* ut hen it has planets depositedin its starJs* it is only connected to the haava and not a strongsigni+cator of the haava.c) >o let us come to planets hich are in con6unction ith planetsB and C. ;et us for e2ample say that planet : is in con6unction ithplanet B. 9f a true con6unction e2ists et een planet B and :(ta ing the estern aspects or into consideration as ruled y our

5uru6i)* then the planet : is also rendered as a Strong Signi+catorof the 99 Bhaava. 9t is then more po erful than planet A itself as asigni+cator of the 99 Bhaava.d) Suppose there is no true con6unction* and planet : happens tooccupy only the same sign as planet B (as ta en in classical 0edicastrology , t o planets in the same sign are said to e incon6unction)* then the planet : is a ea signi+cator of the 99Bhaava , that is* it is only connected to the 99 Bhaava. 9n strength itis ea er than planet A itself hich is the occupant of the 99 Bhaava.e) 9n another case* let us consider a planet N hich is aspected yplanet B. >o B is a strong signi+cator of 99 Bhaava y eing

deposited in the star of planet A* the occupant of the haava.o ever* ecause planet N is only aspected y planet B* planet N issaid to e only connected to the 99 Bhaava* or in other ords* is aea signi+cator of the 99 Bhaava.f) o ever* please note..... if the planet in con6unction or aspect ofthe strong signi+cator is actually a >ode (/ahu or Ketu) then thenode ecomes a Strong Signi+cator of the haava concerned. Thatis ecause the nodes are very po erful. 1specially if there is a truecon6unction ith a node* the node can e ta en in the place of theactual signi+cator planet ecause the node is so po erful.

9 hope* this clari+es the topic of selecting the most fruitfulsigni+cators in 6udging any event. Please note* that this is e&uallyapplica le to oth natal and horary charts and is one of the mostimportant (and elieve me* also the most di cult and confusing)aspects of Krishnamurtipaddhati.

    Accidents and 9n6uries

Shri K.:. Su ramanian in his classic or * Su ;ord Spea s*has listed the 8T/95 >S8.

The $% houses can e divided into Trigons (grouping ofthree).
