• KOZ products are tested by KEMA Netherlands and, in the USA, by Underwriters Laboratories Inc.
KOZ Products bv is a company that specialises in the design, manufacture
and distribution of new, innovative and safety-enhancing products for the
electrotechnical installation sector. In 1998, KOZ introduced a range of new glass-
fibre reinforced polyamide clamps and blocks for fitting low-, medium- & high-
voltage cables. The range has grown steadily since then and the products are now
used throughout the world. KOZ products are always designed to meet the highest
possible requirements. KOZ Products bv also designs and manufactures products
for companies with special requirements for a particular product. Working in close
cooperation with these companies, KOZ develops a custom made end product.
The products are also distinguished from other brands by their high mechanical strength, besides their innovative features and
better safety aspects. Tests have shown that KOZ clamps and blocks have a mechanical strength of from 20,000 N to more than
40,000 N, depending on the type. This makes plastic KOZ products the toughest plastic cable clamps and blocks currently available
on the market. The unique safety features of KOZ products make the whole electrical installation safer. This and the attractive prices
are leading increasingly more companies to make the change and opt for the safety KOZ offers them.

TESTING //
Unlike other similar products, all the various types of KOZ cable clamps and cable blocks have
been extensively tested in the United States by the world-renowned and famous testing institute
Underwriters Laboratories Inc. and, in the Netherlands, by KEMA Netherlands.
The tests, which were carried out in accordance with the latest standards, not only provided an
extremely precise impression of the exact strength of KOZ products but unlike the normal short-
circuit tests carried out by other manufacturers, they also showed after which forces give rise
to hairline cracks in the products. These hairline cracks can often only be seen using electron
microscopes but, obviously, a product with hairline cracks that are invisible to the naked eye has to
be considered unacceptable for medium- and high-voltage installations.
Underwriters Laboratories Inc. is responsible for the worldwide random control of
KOZ products. These controls are carried out at least 4 times a year on products taken straight
from the production line, to enable KOZ to continue to guarantee the high level of reliability. No
mechanical loss of strength occurs within a temperature range of -40ºC to +135ºC. The products have
a fire resistance follow Norm VDE 0304, Part 3, Class II A. Glow Wire Tests are been done follow Norm
IEC 695-2-1 and Needle Flame Tests follow Norm IEC 695-2-2. The KOZ products are then given the
highly coveted American and Canadian quality mark C-UL.

KOZ STANDARD (ST) MOUNTING CLAMPS //
KOZ ST mounting clamps were designed especially to provide the best way of fitting low-, medium-
and high-voltage cables containing one or more conductors and can always be supplied in large
quantities from stock. KOZ ST mounting clamps are produced subject to the ISO 9001 standard
and undergo continuous inspection by the world renowned and independent American testing
institute Underwriters Laboratories Inc. KOZ ST mounting clamps are made of glass-fibre reinforced
polyamide and are among the strongest products of the kind available in the world.
The clamps are distinguished from all similar brands by their superior mechanical strength,
ongoing innovation and the fact that the ST series can also be fitted simply and quickly in a stacked
formation. The balanced design of KOZ ST mounting clamps ensures a very low surface pressure on
the cables. The products can be used indoors and outdoors and, because they are resistant to UV
radiation, ozone, corrosion, oils, salts, acids and radioactive radiation, etc. they can be widely used.
The clamps are tested by, amongst other organisations, KEMA Netherlands and also bear the C-UL
quality mark, which is recognised throughout the world.
KOZ ST mounting clamps can be supplied from stock with stainless steel fastening materials (in our
standard lengths). This means you get all the necessary fastening materials at once, at your chosen
workplace. KOZ ST mounting clamps are halogen free and are fully recyclable. The high safety level
of these KOZ products has been confirmed for many years at home and abroad.

KOZ UNI mounting blocks were designed especially to provide the best way of fitting low-, medium-
and high-voltage cables in multiples alongside and in layers above each other. The unique dovetail
concept means that KOZ UNI cable blocks can also be interconnected, which increases their flexibil-
ity and the number of ways in which
they can be used.
There is no longer any need to fit protective strips between the cables, thanks to the ingenious
design of KOZ UNI cable blocks. This makes fitting not only simpler but also a lot faster. KOZ UNI
mounting blocks can always be supplied in large quantities from stock. KOZ UNI mounting blocks
are produced subject to the ISO 9001 standard and undergo institute Underwriters Laboratories Inc.

KOZ MOULDED RECYCLED MOUNTING BLOCKS //
KOZ recycled mounting blocks are designed especially to your specifications, to provide the best
way of fitting low-, medium- and high-voltage cables in multiples alongside and in layers above
each other. The high (moulded) density of our material means no air will enter, as occurs with other
brands of products made from recycled materials. The implemented standardisation of the basic
material makes it possible to start production quickly, to enable your products to be supplied within
an acceptable period.
The blocks are distinguished from similar recycled products by their higher constant quality, their
superior mechanical strength when compared with other injectionmoulded, recycled material and
the large range of product types and sizes that can be produced.
The balanced range of sizes of KOZ’s recommended moulded, recycled mounting blocks ensures that
cables will be subject to very little surface pressure. The products can be used widely both indoors
and outdoors.
KOZ moulded, recycled mounting blocks can be provided with a recess for washers and nuts.
Stainless steel fastening material can be supplied from stock in our standard lengths. This means
you receive all the necessary materials at once, at your chosen workplace. KOZ moulded, recycled
mounting blocks are off course fully recyclable.
They can be produced in practically any desired cable configuration.
14
KOZ WOODEN CABLE MOUNTING BLOCKS //
KOZ wooden cable mounting blocks are made under KOZ’s own management from steamed beech
wood. The wood is subject to continuous visual inspection to guarantee a high-quality finished
product. Steamed beech wood is more resistant to internal tension, which means it is more stable
than other types of wood.
This high-quality wood is excellent for use without applying any finish but can also be provided with
a high-quality UV-resistant coating on request. The wood is steamed after sawing. In this treatment,
every 100 m3 of the wood is placed on support bars and then steam treated for 12 to 36 hours. This
artificially ages the wood and draws out all the sap.
There are differences in the quality of beech wood, which are expressed in the wood’s specific
gravity per m3. The specific gravity of the beech wood KOZ uses, which is on average 740 kg/m3 at
20% humidity, means the best quality is used. This results in stronger finished products than other
products that may look the same but which are made of lower quality beech wood.
Production usually takes place using CNC operated machines. Each cable mounting block is visually
inspected before, during and after production to guarantee a high-quality finished product. KOZ
wooden cable mounting blocks are always produced to your specifications and with a short delivery
period. The blocks enclose the cables evenly, with the right surface pressure to prevent damage to
the cables.
If required, KOZ wooden mounting blocks can be provided with a recess for washers and nuts.
Stainless steel fastening material can be supplied from stock in our standard lengths. This means you
receive all the necessary materials at once, at your chosen workplace.

KOZ distinguishes itself from competitors also because the company actively thinks through
solutions to (complicated) problems that may occur in practice. KOZ’s efficient operational
management and know-how mean the company can often come up with practical solutions in a
very short time. KOZ not only develops products made of various types of plastics but also designs
and manufactures products made of different kinds of metals. For example, KOZ designed special
brackets for a project that enabled KOZ products to be fitted to existing galvanized cable ladders,
where, for various reasons, no holes could be drilled. KOZ also designs, manufactures and produces
plastic products for OEM users, for example.
Working in close cooperation with clients, KOZ makes innovative proposals and product drawings,
which can be further developed into finished products once they have been approved.
KOZ can also be brought in to attend to the protection of the (model) rights. KOZ’s services therefore
include not only supplying the company’s own range of products but also include supplying total
solutions for your actual situation, where possible.
