an honest attempt to visually document them.

Intent


Festivals are integral to India. Every season, every month, every week and almost every other day, there is a festival celebrated in our culturally rich, beautiful country. Because Indians are a happy lot of people who deep within believe that every single

day in our lives has significance and a reason to rejoice. For us, it is the perfect excuse to add excitement and break the drudge of daily life. Festivals for us are our very

own traditional version of partying, where we escape from the humdrum monotony of life and transcend into a different world of happiness. And what could be a better

way to do so other than cherishing every moment with your loved ones. What’s more? Each and every festival has its own significance and a unique way of

celebrating. Based on the lunar calendar, each festival is designed in such a manner that it denotes the importance of the season and sets the mood for the activities to

follow. However the theme always remains the same, fun unlimited!
