Steps to Healing is a friendly space where Aboriginal people can come together to share stories and make connections through healing and culture.

This group is for anyone who has been through hard times, when daily life is a struggle.

Steps to Healing is a gentle group program offering activities and experiences based on mindfulness, storytelling, and skills that challenge unhelpful thoughts, feelings and actions.

Together we will make room for Connection, Hope, Identity, and Empowerment.

Transport, morning tea and light lunch provided. Bookings for transport essential.

The program offers the tools to lead a more positive life.

Steps to Healing is a culturally safe program, facilitated by Aboriginal workers trained in mental health.

What is SMART Recovery?SMART (Self Management and Recovery Train-ing) Recovery is a free group program assisting people with any problematic behaviours, in-cluding addiction to drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, gambling, food, shopping, Internet and others. Guided by trained workers, you will learn a range of tools to manage what you are strug-gling with and to motivate you.

This group is for Aboriginal community mem-bers only and is run by Aboriginal facilitators. Come with a purpose, leave with a plan
