How are you?
Last week you received the first brochure of KOMERAKids!
I hope you were able to read everything and have some fun while
learning something important.
Would you like to let us know how you enjoyed the adventure?
Were you able to do the « emo-meter » every day?
Did you achieve the goal of the week?
Then send us an email to tell us all about it (max: half a page.)
So, are you ready to continue the adventure? Yes? Alright! Let’s go!
for KOMERAKids!

Dear adventurer,
Try answering these questions:
1. Who was Jeremiah and where did he
come from?
2. What was Jeremiah’s mission?
3. When did God appoint (choose)
Jeremiah for this mission?
You can send your answers to
JEREMIAH
LET’s DISCOVER…Bible
references:
Jeremiah 1:1
Jeremiah 1:4-5
A prophet:
A prophet is someone who
God sends to the people to
tell them what He has to
say. God’s goal is to turn
people to Himself!
✓ Just like Jeremiah, God knew you before He created
you in your mother’s womb. Did you know that?
✓ God also has a plan for your life and the Bible tells us
that it is a marvellous plan! Just look at Jeremiah
29:11! In this verse, God tells us that He wants
happiness and a good future for you!!!
✓ God is able to tell you what it is He wants to do
through you, the reason why He created you. Just as
He revealed it to Jeremiah, He can also reveal it to
you. Now maybe a good time for you to stop and listen
for awhile, come to Him and ask Him, listen to what
He may be saying to you?
✓ God also calls children to serve Him!! You may think
that He only calls adults to serve, but that is not true!
He also calls children! There’s a great example of this
in 1 Samuel 2:11
To think about
A truth to keep in
your heart:God knows you so well and
He loves you very much. You
are precious to Him because
He is the One who made you!
You are not a result of
coincidence; you are not an
accident.
GOD WANTS YOU!!
« Take a moment
to thank God for
His love and
goodness for you »
So.. from now on, remember that
YOU ARE VALUABLE TO GOD!
Not because of what you do, but because He
created you and loves you!
If you have homework to do…
Last week I told you that it is important to
take a break when you have your homework
to do. Do you know why that is important?
It is because your brain becomes tired when
it has to focus for a long period. Therefore,
you need to give it time to rest. When you
restart, you will work better!
Goal: « let’s create a nice atmosphere
in the house! » If you have brothers or sisters,
let’s be kind to them this week! Stop fighting with each
other or saying unkind things to them. This week, do all
that you can to be kind to everyone in the house.
I’m counting on you!
To have a fun time with your family, make a desert for
Easter! Go to www.lahoulette.be to find the recipe.
It’s team
work!
Challenge of the week…
Try to come up with something
funny that will make your family
laugh (a video, joke, funny role
play, …)
If possible, try to find one every
day or every other day!
We would love it if you let us
know what you did! ☺
ENJOY THE ADVENTURE!
« What’s the weather like today? »
I want to tell you about, what we call « basic emotions ». They will help you to express what "the weather"
is like today. The basic emotions are: Joy, anger, sadness, fear, disgust and surprise.
I will explain every one of them more in detail over the next few weeks.
An emotion is a sign which tells us that we have a need. If that need is met, we will have a positive emotion
but if that need is not met, then we will have a negative emotion.
So every emotion is connected to a need!
It is important for you to learn to recognize the emotions you feel and learn how to express them in the
best way possible. That will help you in your life and your relationships with other people.
In good shape !Take care of your body:
It is important to have a good bedtime routine!
Did you know that at your age your body needs 10 hours of
sleep a night so that it gets enough rest to grow well?
So, when it is time to go to bed, don’t complain or try to stay
up later, just go to bed. Your body needs you to rest!
I count on you!
✓ Whenever God calls someone to serve Him,
that person also needs a mentor to help him in
his calling (task). It is no different for children.
✓ Samuel started serving God when he was
just a child, but he served under the
guidance of Eli the priest. He explained to
Samuel the things he didn’t understand
yet!
✓ So the same counts for you. If you believe
that God is calling you to do something
specific, talk about it with your parents,
Sunday school teacher or even your pastor;
they will help you on your way.
Did you know…
Listening to your mentor will help you succeed in
your calling!
Don’t forget that!
A child who is
called by God to
serve (to do a task),
also needs an adult
to guide him.
