And finally, I want to congratulate Lloyd “Tom” Dailey for completing his 3rd Degree. When you see these members, please introduce yourself and congratulate them.

Speaking of new members, we have our recruiting weekend November 9th and 10th. In addition to serving the 2nd Sunday doughnuts, we will have a table where prospective knights can come find out what we’re all about. The best witness to help new members join is a personal invitation from another member, so now my challenge for the month is to find a fellow Catholic man who is not a member of the Knights and encourage him to join us.

November is the month of Thanksgiving and we have lots to be thankful for. We have a great Council that does a lot for our community and local charities. I thank all of you who are doing a lot behind the scenes to help keep this Council running.A special shout out to all of you who helped with the Tootsie Roll drives at the church and at Albertson’s.

Come out and support the VA Certified Veteran’s Day Parade. This year the Richland Knights of Columbus have registered an entry, float/trailer and motorcycles. This is

the 11th year of being recognized as a Veteran’s Administration Certified Parade and one of only two

parades certified by the Veteran’s Administration in the State of Washington.

This year we’re invited to Flat Top Park after the parade for a chili feed sponsored by CVI, Combat Veterans

International. The winning Motorcycle Raffle ticket will be drawn at the Veterans Day celebrations. Cool!
