What’s the Cable carrier

Cable carrier attached in moving equipment is used to protect cables andhoses. It prevents cables and hoses from being tangled, disconnected causedby rapid movements. Cable carrier is made of plastic or metal in accordanc of environment and applicaations. Additionally the material of engineering plastic is widely used for normal cases.

Details to select proper Cable carrier

· Travel of machinery : To calculate lengths· Outer diameters and Quantity of cables and hoses

To select an inner width of the Cable carrier· Outerdiameters of the thickest cables of hoses

To select a radius of the Cable carrier· Total weight of cables and hoses

To select a span of the Cable carrier· The working period of machines ·Ambient temperature

How to decide radius of Cable carrier

·In case of not knowing cable radius, you can select following details.·Electronic Cables : R min > 6~8 X Ø ( outer diameter of the thickest cable)·Pneumatic Lines : R min > 8~10 X Ø ( outer diameter of the thickest cable)·Hydraulic Hoses : R min > 12~15 X Ø ( outer diameter of the thickest cable)

How to decide clearance height of Cable carrier

The clearance height enables safe operation and a long-term performance. Additionally for particular machinery, theproducts can be supplied without clerance heights. (No surplus height for silde type such as CDPS, SRS, WS type)

How to install Cables and hoses

Surplus 15% of the cable lenght is required to preventit from being disconnected during its operation.

Cables and hoses are aligned and fixed in front of theMoving and Fixed End Bracket.

How to align Cables and hoses

Classify cables and hoses in proportion.For smooth and repeat movement of cables and hoses inCable carrier, they should be placed spaciously.

Cables and hoses should be brought into aline to prevent them from being tangled.

How to install Cable carrier for long travel(Guide Channel)

installing proper Guide channel is also important as much as finding correct Cable carrier.It does not cause defects to supply Cable carrier with Gide channel.When customers manufacture Guide chnnel directly, it can be some problems without comments from our Engineer.We provide our drawing of Cable carrier with Guide chnnel in case.
