The Schneider Electric KNX universal dimming actuator REG-K versions combine all advantages and functions that are expected from 150 W up to 1000 W. Simultaneous dimming of different luminaires and lamps with „soft start“ guarantee a considerable increase in service life of lights. Schneider Electric offers an innovative concept for setting the dimming speed individu-ally. Before, only one dimming speed could be set. Now, it is possible to individually set how fast lights are to be dimmed when they are switched on and off. And on top of that, you can set different dimming speeds according to On/Off, relative and absolute dimming, scenes and functions with higher priority. The dimming time can be set over several channels. This means that all connected luminaires reach the required brightness level at the same time no matter which bright-ness levels they were at. A differentiated status and feedback function makes regular control possible.

There are three options for con-trolling the dimmer: using KNX, using hand push-buttons on the device and (in the construction phase of during servicing) using a conventional push-button (not MTN649325).

Furthermore, the Schneider Electric KNX universal dimming actuator REG combines all advantages of the universal function. This is because universal dimmer automatically recognize the connected loads and also make mixed operation

The staircase lighting func-tion with advance warning before switching off is ideal for hallways and stairways or public areas. Logic operation, or priority control and blocking of channels is possible. Up to eight scenes which can be set can be controlled via 1 or 8-bit. A central function for the On/Off central control has been integrated. A solution with an attractive price that optimally fulfi ls all requirements.
