White collar job,

A worker engaged in some kind of clerical, administration, generally office workers, even management roles. Also referred as “Desk job”. Usually salaried job.

Blue collar job,

A worker engaged in some kind of manual labor, unskilled or can be skilled, but mainly physical work. Usually paid on hourly basis.

Grey collar job,

A worker whose is mix of both white collar and blue collar. In most cases, a skilled resource. They are in principle white collar people but perform blue collar duties with some irregularities. Mostly found in IT industry.

Example- Engineers.

Gold collar job,

A worker engaged in some a pursuit of high demand. Example- Chartered accountant, doctors etc..

Red collar job,

A worker engaged in any kind of government job.

Pink collar job,

A worker engaged usually in some kind of hospitality. Mostly this term refers to jobs traditionally done by women.Example- Flight attendant, librarian, nurse etc…

Green collar job,

A worker engaged usually in any kind of environmental sectors, clean energy sources or environment friendly job.Example- people engaged in Hydro plant, solar business, wind energy, environment safe guard associations etc…

Orange collar job,

Though, not preferred by many! This group of job refers to prison labors.

Black collar job,

Again! not preferred by many! This group of job refers to work involving illegal activities.

No collar job,

No collar job refers to the work which involves artistic, passion driven, activities .
