Timber Windows,Shutters & Doors

We have over 15 years’ experience supplying hand crafted, beautifully designed bespoke windows and doors to both domestic and commercial

customers throughout Ireland and the UK. Our expert craftsmen work with the highest quality hard wood and soft wood to provide the perfect finish. We pride ourselves that all our products are made using the best quality timber available from sustainable sources. We are proud to offer you the personal care and attention you would expect from a bespoke joinery service. With a

clear point of contact throughout your project we ensure that you are involved, where necessary with every step of the process.

Our complete bespoke joinery service includes:

Factory paint finish: All products have the option of a factory paint finish. This is done using a

water-based paint which allows timber to breathe. This finish is applied before glazing and the fitting of ironmongery ensuring

all joints and rebates are adequately sealed.

Glazing: All products, where possible, are factory glazed with double glazed units to try and

achieve the best “U” rating possible

Timber: We are committed to the environment through sourcing of materials from countries with re-planting policies.

Environmental commitment: A key focus within the company is a commitment to the environment through

sourcing of sustainable timber, minimisation of waste and recycling of materials.

Sliding SashWindows

Kinghtsbrook’s sliding sash window combines the elegance and aesthetics of traditional sash windows with modern ‘U’ values, weather sealing and

security. These can be manufactured as both traditional weights and pulleys or spiral balances.

Our craftsmen have many years of experience in designing and making bespoke windows for listed buildings, uniquely designed feature windows

for new builds or replacement feature windows. We have unrivalled experience in this area and have undertaken many challenging and

exciting projects.

There are many different designs and patterns of sash windows that we are proud to be able to replicate. We can replace the entire window or just the

sliding parts provided that the existing frames are in good enough condition. The materials we use are of the highest quality.

Window FramesWe can design and manufacture many different patterns of sash windows or

even replicate existing windows. We also supply and fit a wide range of window

furniture, which has been selected for its hard wearing, elegant and high quality finish. We can supply brass, brushed

chrome or polished chrome, but if you had a specific finish in mind we can

source other finished on request.

Stairs We design and manufacture some of the finest staircases you will ever see. Each

staircase is individually created and handcrafted to your specific requirements and taste. We make purpose made timber staircases to suit your requirements, from

straight flights to ornate sweeping and radial staircases, in traditional and modern styles. Using the best and latest techniques together with traditional methods we are

able to offer beautifully crafted and exceptionally made staircases.

Using only highest quality imported timber; our craftsmen turn your ideas into a staircase which you will be proud to have admired as the centre piece of your home.

We offer limitless variations on design & material choice, from basic softwood & engineered timber flights, to intricate curved oak or walnut staircases. Your choice

of baluster can be traditional turned or simple plain square spindles resulting in the balustrade of your own unique design.

We work with both building contractors, architects and private homeowners. All of our staircases are handmade and arrive fully made and ready to be installed by our

team of specialist fitters. For private customers we offer a complete service from design through to installation where required.

We are passionate about creating the finest bespoke furniture. Whether you require traditional or contemporary, modern or eclectic furniture, for a domestic or commercial setting, we can build and design furniture to your specification.

We have been making fitted and free standing furniture for over 15 years, specialising in bathrooms, bedrooms and living rooms. We have an

established reputation as a high end quality cabinet maker whose attention to detail and exceptional finish is second to none.

Composite Doors GRP double-seal composite door which will look good and perform to the most stringent

weathering and security standards. The best designs always provide a practical but elegant solution to a serious problem. Using a unique combination of some of the

strongest and most robust materials in the world including steel, GRP, toughened triple or double glazed units and high density polyurethane, our composite door range

has security at its very core.

Locking SystemMulti-point locking system is fitted as standard to

reinforce the concept of safety in your home.

Energy EfficiencyWhen this composite door range was designed, we used the very latest in

design and materials to help keep the heat in and the cold out; creating one of the most energy efficient doors available.

Made from fibreglass (GRP) and high-density polyurethane materials and with the extremely efficient draught excluding double rebate, all our Composite doors can be

specified to achieve the maximum A rating. Even if you want to include glazing in your door we can use toughened, triple insulated, low E, gas filled glass units meaning you

can benefit from extra light without having to compromise greatly on your door’s thermal performance.

Why is double rebate important?The double rebate system adds additional draught protection by

creating an internal secondary rebated seal.

Colour Matching Our manufacturing process allows us the flexibility to colour match your

complete door entrance system, inside and outside. Colour choices are not restricted to white frames, or to a white only finish on the inside. Choose your door colour, match the

door frames, rebate, weather deflector and internal finish.

Every last detail is carefully designed to make a real difference. So when we apply the finishing touches, we put as much consideration and effort into things like glazing trims

and mouldings, as we do the overall door finish. Details like our timber-effect raised mouldings and handmade, triple or double insulated decorative glass units might be

harder to create, but they are what makes our Composite door look so unique.

Bespoke DoorsBecause we design and manufacture every composite door in our purpose-built factory, we have the capability and the experience to create bespoke doors for unique projects.

Sectional garage doors are one of the most popular and practical choices for style, safety and security with an easy to use and versatile garage door operating system. They are called sectional

garage doors because they open and close in separate individual panel sections, opening vertically without any swing out from the structural opening and because of this operation almost any shape

of opening can have a Sectional Garage Door installed to it, i.e. arched, angled corners etc.

Sectional garage doors have become the world standard due to their inherent security, functionality, insulation and draught-proof qualities. Fully insulated sections are surrounded on all sides by

robust weather seals ensuring draft proofing is achieved while also keeping the elements out of your garage where they belong.

Our insulated doors feature durable steel skins front and back with thick dense insulation - a must have if you’re garage is integrated or you plan to use your garage for any purpose other than storage. Additionally, if you have a room located directly above the garage the insulated door also provides

an additional sound barrier.

Sectional garage doors will make full use of the space in front of or behind your garage opening as they all open vertically. This mechanism is ideal for shorter driveways, garages next to pathways

These doors are suitable for listed buildings, new build’s, conceptual architecture and replacement projects. The wide range of materials that are used in the construction of our side sliding garage doors (aluminium, insulated steel and a variety of timbers) are ideal

for architect led projects, refurbishment projects and conservation of listed and traditional buildings. Our sliding garage doors can be made to fit almost any opening including curved

or unusual shapes. Our custom made garage doors operate very quietly and have many additional advantages and features such as electric remote automation and insulation.

This door combines the function of a garage door with an integral pedestrian door and can have remote controlled automation. Applications have included hangars, curved buildings,

out houses, coach houses, over sized and underground multi-user garage doors.

Even children and the elderly find these doors easy and safe to handle. There are no springs, no counter weights, no drop bars, no projecting swing and no risk of inadvertent

dropping. Very little side room is lost, maximising space in your garage.

There are virtually no width restrictions and depending on material the doors can be up to 5m high. Doors can be made from timber such as superior spruce, hemlock, larch, oak and sapele. All these timber options are hand selected to be virtually knot free and can be factory stain or paint finished. Alternatively doors can be made from aluminium with various finishes. Both our bespoke wooden and metal doors have numerous options for

personalisation and adaption into a wide variety of installations.Our side hinged garage doors not only offer the ultimate in style, accessibility and security,

but are also made to measure just for you. The wonderfully versatile side hinged garage doors offer solutions to so many problems and provides opportunities not possible with

other types of garage door. They are simple in operation and easy to maintain over the years with minimal moving mechanical parts.

With a side opening garage door, you can gain easy pedestrian access without exposing the whole garage - or it’s contents. The lead access door can be hung on either side of the garage, and dependant on size are available in centre or off centre split positions.

The side hinged garage door set can be produced with either 50/50 split opening or a 1/3 and 2/3 opening in most designs. The 1/3rd and 2/3rd opening offers the best solution to frequent pedestrian access meaning only the smaller door leaf is opened every time

access is required. Made from both Steel and GRP (glass fiber) our steel doors are made from galvanized sheet with a textured powder coat finish in a range of styles and colours,

including some models with windows and our GRP (glass-fiber) doors offer a range of beautiful designs in a low maintenance finish.

At Knightsbrook we offer you a vast choice of designs and materials for your new up and over garage door that will best suit your purpose. The up and over garage door is still the most versatile when it comes to materials and designs.

The one piece panel structure means that doors can be made from steel, fibreglass and most types of timber.
