  • Knighton Countryside Management wasestablished in 1989 as a forestry managementbusiness. We still manage an extensive area ofwoodland but have extended our operations toundertake a wide range of environmental andlandscape contracting as well.

    We have a wide client base of landowners and have completed projects that vary fromsmall plantings of 50 trees, to large scaleprojects of several hundred thousand trees thathave enhanced the environment and createdlandscapes that will be enjoyed by the futuregenerations.

    Our core staff of 30 makes us one of the largestdedicated woodland and conservation work-

    forces in the South of England and between uswe have a wealth of practical conservationexperience.

    We own and operate a wide range of specialistplant and machinery which enables us toundertake all woodland and conservationoperations.

    We are committed to the work we do becauseof our knowledge and love of the environment.The following pages provide an overview of theservices we provide.

  • Tree planting was the inspiration behind KCMover 20 years ago. Since then we have plantedliterally millions of trees, including hedging,broadleaf woodland, commercial coniferplantations, avenues and parkland trees.

    KCM is the official Tubex stockist in the SouthWest. We have huge stocks of tree shelters andplanting accessories available throughout theyear. We are also able to supply all your treeand hedging needs from our selection ofpreferred UK nurseries.

  • KCM is involved in the management of 3500acres of woodland across Southern England.Our woodland management services coverevery aspect of professional forestry work.

    We have extensive experience of woodlandgrant schemes and are able to manage everystage of the process from initial grantapplications to the sale of timber and replanting thereafter.

    We also undertake tree surveys. There is aclearly defined duty of care for landowners toprevent accidents involving falling trees orbranches. The process involves inspecting thetrees, tagging and mapping them followed bythe creation of a schedule of works requiredwhich we would be delighted to quote for andundertake if required.
