…a calm and peaceful place. …Klahowya is a wonderful house with the sea and the forest. It was a great place for a

reunion. On arrival we were greeted by a humming bird and bald eagle. We cooked great meals, ate on the deck and relaxed. Love to return. … The ferry trip was fun and felt like we were leaving the chaos of the mainland and arriving in a calm and peaceful place. We all felt

so relaxed after our stay'.

...beautiful property with fantastic views!! …It’s been an amazing visit. I’d never been to WA and was amazed to see how tall the trees are. I know everything was green here and so we lucked out with some wonderful weather & SUN!! We enjoyed kayaking with our own gear @ Mud Bay & Mackey Harbor. It was very

different than lakes in Co & WY. We also had fun with the ferry (watching it coming & going) and took a trip over to Friday Harbor on Friday. What a beautiful property with fantastic

views!!

… walk down and get on the ferry to Friday Harbor.. …We talked with a local woman at one of the co-op art galleries and she told us about the local farm stands, so we enjoyed cooking local island meat and produce that we picked up at farm stands around the island…The home is so close to the ferry terminal that you can

walk down and get on the ferry to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island or go to Orcas or Shaw Island. On your return to Lopez Island you just walk back to the home.

Being this closed to the ferry was perfect.…Had a wonderful time here at your house. My wife Amy and I stayed here for our

honeymoon. Being this close to the ferry was perfect. We did a walk-on trip to Friday Harbor. It was a perfect day to end our trip. We explored Orcas and Lopez as well.

…all the way from Australia. …What a fantastic place of a reunion: we met our daughter after 10 months to have time to cook, laugh and love the beautiful environment. We came all the way from Australia. It was better than we could ever have imagined – especially the bald eagles & the hummingbird.

We were so happy. Loved the Wi-Fi service. We’ll be back.
