This presentation centred on the skills portal functionality as well as the broader skills project. The Training Room Online were recently awarded the contract to build the portal for industry body BPeSA and this was an opportunity for Kirsty Chadwick, Founder and Chair of The Training Room Online, to address these constituents on the developments to date as well as introduce them to our functional capability.

BPeSA Skills Portal Introduction
Primarily a learning technology company with a strong focus on content development
Content is developed in various formats: eLearning, video, animation and games
Content is deployed through technology – LMS Portals, Mobile Devices and Tablets
What we do
• Discussions commenced in November 2012
• Common objectives around growth of the industry
• Participated in the skills workshop on the development of a skills academy
• Synergies around thinking and philosophy on talent development
• Recently awarded the RFP for development of the portal
• Developed the technical document for the skills portal
Interactions with BPeSA to date:
A web-based application which is accessible through the BPeSA website
Access to the site will be granted through registration
Online portal for Communication between Providers & Consumers

• Providers • Consumers• Administrators
Allow for seamless tracking and reporting on industry activity
Allows integration into 3rd party systems including social media
Vehicle to deploy learning content
