Job Descriptions
Companies are requested tosend a detailed jobdescription for the positionthey wish to recruit for. Thisenables the students tomake an informed choiceand also ensures rightcandidate for right job.
Resume Lists
Once the job requirements arereceived from the company,resumes of interested studentswill be sent to the companies.The company should send inshortlists at least a weekbefore the day they are slottedto visit the campus /placement camp for therecruitment process.
Final Placement Process
10th October onwards companiesstart visiting for placements.
It begins with a formal interactionbetween the student communityand participating companiesthrough Pre-Placement Talk(PPT). The objective of PPT is toprovide the students with anopportunity to understand theorganization, the job profile andcareer prospects.
All the job offers an organisation would like to make should be channeled only through the Placement Office. No job offer shouldbe made directly to any student. The first firm offer received by a student in the Placement Programme will have to be accepted bythe student and s/he will be withdrawn from the subsequent placement process.

▰ The BUSINESS IMMERSION (BI) forms an important component of education atKIAMS.
▰ It is an attempt to bridge the gap between the academic institution and thecorporate world.
▰ At KIAMS, Student interns undertake a 3 months BI in companies after Term III.The Program carries a weightage of 6 credits.
▰ The BI, which would be a simulation of real work environment, requires theStudent interns to undergo the rigor of professional environment, both in formand in substance.
BUSINESS IMMERSION - EXTENDED VALUE ADD

▰ This process provides an opportunity for the Students to satisfy theirinquisitiveness about the corporate world, provides exposure to technicalskills, and helps them to acquire social skills by being in constant interactionwith the professionals of other organizations.
▰ It is compulsory for the student undergoing BI to successfully complete the course to be eligible for the diploma.
The Business Immersion is for a period of 3 months duration between
April 1 to June 30, 2020
