Page 5: KIRAN ACADEMYkiranacademydmj.in/pdf/prospectus.pdf · 2017-06-09 · Kiran Academy was established in 2010 with a view to maintaining quality education at Dhemaji. Academy’s mission

From the desk of DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC RELATION

The concept of Kiran Academy developed in 2007 when we started a coach-

ing centre with the HS students. The response of people was overwhelming.

Our students showed excellent result in AHSEC examination.

Then we had layers of discussion among ourselves, with academicians and pub-

lic regarding feasibility of an Academy at Dhemaji before we finally set up

this institute in 2010. As is the case with all newly set up institute, there was

reluctance and hesitation to enrol here. In the first batch we had only 19 stu-

dents. The examination result was far better than expected; 100% pass with 10

students securing star mark and 1st Div. 9 with letter marks.

The following year there was dramatic change in enrolment; we could not

provide seat to large number of students. Also at the demand of public we had to

start the Arts stream with an intake of 30 students in 2011 and Class-IX-

2012.

Friends, we humbly admit of not being able to provide with good

infrastructural facilities and other student progression services. But we here

provide every care to students in all their academic problems, give counselling

and keep in personal contact with every student, because every student is pre-

cious for us and we believe every student has potential to develop at his own.

What is required is little care and guidance.

Friends, we are planning to shift the Academy to our newly constructed

building at Telijan, Dhemaji. We hope the problem of infrastructure can be

solved to a large extent once we shift to our new building.

We are also planning to start Medical and Engineering coaching which

will be open to all students.

Kiran Academy is still in its nonage. We need help and support from all

people. All your suggestions will be blessing and wealth to us.
