Prep 2022 Enrolments and Information Afternoon We are now taking enrolments for Prep in 2022. We already have several students enrolled for next year. I strongly encourage all school families who have a child starting school next year to collect an Enrolment Pack from the office and complete the enrolment process as soon as possible. This will ensure that a place is reserved for your child. If you know of any families in the community who are intending to send their child to Kingsbury, please also encourage them to enrol as soon as possible. Our first information session will be held on Friday 21st May, from 2.15pm—3.15pm. All welcome.

If you have a younger child who attends another kinder other than our local one, or a Child Care Centre, would you please assist the school by calling into the school office and requesting some of our brochures and flyers to display at your child’s facility. Many families have done this already and we thank you. It is in the best interests of the school to obtain as many enrolments as possible.

Department of Education—Data Collection Form The forms have been sent home to students this week, I ask that you complete and return by the due date of Friday 28th May 2021. This information is required for assessment and reporting processes, and is collected twice yearly as per the guidelines outlined by DET.

Eid al-Fitr (End of Ramadan) Eid al-Fitr, also called the “Festival of Breaking the Fast”, is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. For our families who celebrate this religious occasion this week, we hope you have a wonderful time with your families and extended community. I hope that you enjoy your feast and the other activities that you participate in. Please notify your child’s teacher if they have or will be absent from school, so the “roll” can be accurately recorded.
