Today’s Focus
What is Title IKingsbury Middle School is a Title I School.
Which means we receive federal funds to ensure that our school is ran appropriately. Title I is a part of the No child left Behind Act, which requires that schools provide high quality instruction in a positive and supportive learning environment.
*All parents should have received a packet that includes KMS’s Title I Notification-
Parents Right to Know- and Family Engagement Plan
AYP is defined as a school’s expected level of growth for a given school year. This number is assigned by the Department of Education. Unfortunately, we have been identified as a High Priority School this year. This is not because our test scores dropped, but because they stayed the same overall.
However, we are COMMITTED to ensuring that we provide the students with the necessary support to make ACADEMIC GAINS.
Adequate Yearly Progress(AYP)
Family Engagement Plan & Parental Involvement
