Modern living amidstbeautiful surroundings
Kennett is a beautiful village situated just outside the unique town of Newmarket on the Suffolk and Cambridgeshire border. With picturesque rural scenery encompassing the village, numerous footpaths and walking trails it is easy to explore the stunning surroundings of King’s Chase.
The village dates back to the Doomsday Book and was named after the River that runs through it. With a small population of around 300 people the village shares it’s amenities with the neighbouring village of Kentford. The post office, garage, pavilion, village hall, playing field and train station are just minutes from your door. For relaxing and dining there is The Bell, an early 16th century coaching inn or The Kennett, both just a short walk from King’s Chase.
For larger shops and services, Newmarket lies just four miles away. Host to well-known stores,
one-off boutiques and a market which is held on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The interesting town is famed for it’s long standing history of horse breeding and racing and is evident at every turn and you can find out more about it at the award-winning National Horseracing Museum.
Sites of interest nearby include Lanwades Park with the stunning Lanwades Hall, with beautiful grounds to explore there is plenty to see. A short drive and you will find yourself in the village of Moulton, complete with a 15th century bridge over the ford and acclaimed Pack Horse Inn on hand for refreshments.
On the very edge of Cambridgeshire and Suffolk, Kennett boasts excellent transport links being placed just off the A14 and A11. With Kennett train station less than a mile away, it is easy to reach destinations such as Cambridge, Ipswich and London be it for work, relaxation or a packed day out.

It is not possible in a brochure of this nature to do more than give a general impression of the range, quality and variety of the homes we have on offer. The computer generated imagery, floor plans, configurations and layouts are included for guidance only. The Properties may vary in terms of elevational design details, position/size of garage and materials used. Such changes are due to our commitment to creating homes of individual character, although similar to others. We operate a policy of continuous product development so there may be material differences between the accommodation depicted in our literature and that on offer on any particular development or at different times during the progress of any development. Maps not to scale. Computer generated images of property types at King’s Chase may not necessarily illustrate that property type in its setting at this development. All internal and external photography of properties depicts previous Hopkins Homes and Hopkins & Moore developments. Other photographs are of the local area or
