The good news is that Miss Wade is rejoining the St Francis staff team in September and so is staying with us within our partnership, and will therefore still be part of our wider staff family. Some very special news is that that Mrs Edwards is expecting her 2nd baby in the near future, and we are all very excited for her; we wish her all the best for her maternity leave which will start very shortly after the start of the new term. In addition, Mrs Clayton is intending to return from her maternity leave at Easter 2017 when she will resume her position as class teacher in Y1; this is detailed in the table below. As both of these teachers will therefore not be with us for the whole entirety of next year I am really pleased to let you know that we have appointed 2 new members of staff; Mrs Coles who joins Y1 and Miss Parker who joins Y3. We extend a very warm welcome to both and I am sure they will soon feel like part of our family. I am also delighted to let you know that Miss Sly will be getting married over the summer holiday. We are absolutely thrilled for her and wish her every happiness for the future; when we return in September Miss Sly’s new name will be Mrs Pickford. Dear Parents and carers,

This week I am delighted to be able to let you know about September’s class arrangements, detailed in the table below.

Hellos, goodbyes and wedding bells

Sadly at the end of this term we bid a fond farewell to Miss Wade and I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for

all her help and support in Y2 and for doing such a great job of looking after Mrs Clayton’s class when she went on

maternity leave. The good news is that Miss Wade is rejoining the St Francis staff team in September and so is staying

with us within our partnership, and will therefore still be part of our wider staff family.

Some very special news is that that Mrs Edwards is expecting her 2nd baby in the near future, and we are all very excited

for her; we wish her all the best for her maternity leave which will start very shortly after the start of the new term. In

addition, Mrs Clayton is intending to return from her maternity leave at Easter 2017 when she will resume her position as

class teacher in Y1; this is detailed in the table below.

As both of these teachers will therefore not be with us for the whole entirety of next year I am really pleased to let you

know that we have appointed 2 new members of staff; Mrs Coles who joins Y1 and Miss Parker who joins Y3. We extend

a very warm welcome to both and I am sure they will soon feel like part of our family.

I am also delighted to let you know that Miss Sly will be getting married over the summer holiday. We are absolutely

thrilled for her and wish her every happiness for the future; when we return in September Miss Sly’s new name will be Mrs

Pickford.

Leadership … In September I will continue in my role as Executive Headteacher, supporting both King Charles and St

Francis schools and will continue to share my time across both.

Slight adjustments …Since September 2015 Mr Moscato has been Head of School and done a fantastic job of being the

non-class based leader, responsible for the day to day running of the school. For this next academic year starting in

September 2016, Mr Moscato will return to the classroom and Mrs Stevens will become Head of School for this next

academic year. (Please note that these adaptations are part of the school’s strategic leadership plan and were initially

shared with parents in June 2015)

available to support children, parents and staff just as they do now.
