KINDY PYJAMA DAY
Year 12 Fundraising Infant students trying to guess the amount of snakes in the jar with Year 12 student Korina, who is helping to fundraise for the Year 12 Farewell and end of year presentation to the students and staff at CCS.
The library opens again today following its major refurbishment. The facility looks amazing and will be a great resource for our students in the upcoming years. Students in K-6 will have access to this space during
Library lessons and secondary students will have some class lessons scheduled into this space. The library will be open for all students most lunchtimes. Congratulations to all the swimmers who did so well at the Primary Zone Carnival and “Good Luck” at the North-West Carnival. Vocal group practice continues this week for all interested students on Monday and Thursday lunchtimes in the new music room.
A reminder that on Tuesday afternoon we have our first Parent/Teacher Interviews for the year. Parents who require meeting times with teachers are asked to book through the front office. As the weather gets cooler it’s important to ensure that all students have the correct uniform. Coolah Central School Jumpers are available from the front office. They are $40 each. As always I can be contacted at the school should you
have any concerns.

Secondary Sport with Mrs Staniforth
Good luck to the following students travelling to Armidale on Tuesday for Regional Swimming Trials – Rose, Taylor, Jacinta, Bonnie, Will, Sophie, Jami, Caitlin and Tristan.
We are fast approaching many of our representative try outs and the students will be notified of these on assembly as they arise. So far we have asked for expressions of interest for:
Open and Under 15’s League Opens Netball Opens Soccer Opens Touch Football 15’s and under Touch Football
Please note that many of the trials include students being in Year 12 competing for positions against students in Year 7. Also all boys playing League must complete a Permission to play League note. These are available from Mr Jones.
Sport on a Wednesday will possibly be swimming for a few more weeks, depending on the weather. Students need to bring swimmers and money ($3.00) for the next few weeks.
It is important that all Year 11 and Year 12 students have a USI number and to make sure that Mrs Staniforth has a copy of it located at school in case the need arises. On March 29th, Jeremy Tanner from UNE will be visiting at Lunchtime to discuss university entry with our Year 11 and 12 students. The CSU MY Day calender is in the newsletter so if there are any courses students would like to go and experience to see if this is what they would like to do after school, please see Mrs Staniforth for an enrolment form.
