Compound-Complex Sentences• Definition-Has two independent clauses joined by more than
one dependent clause.• Sentence-When Jerry plays , Larry sits back and relax , but
Sarah plays alone.
Declarative Sentence• Definition-A statement.• Sentence-Mary likes playing with toys.
Imperative Sentence • Definition-A command towards someone.• Sentence-Show me the money.
