• Assumption– StudentsenrolledinGrade1in2017-18weretherightageforKG2lastyear.

• ToapproximatethenumberofchildreninKG2lastyear,wesurveyedparentsofstudentsinGrade1thisyear.

• Asurveyinstrumentconsistingoftenquestionswasdeveloped,piloted,refinedandadministeredinGrade1classroomsnationallyinDecember2017.
