“Ki n d a i F i s h r i e s Laboratory” was

opened in Grand Front Osaka in Apr i l . I t i s a special restaurant which fish farmed by the Kindai Fish Research Institute in Wakayama. We can eat Kindai

tuna fish, which come to fame in recent years, and red sea bream, striped jack, and Japanese amberjack in this restaurant. Besides, we can also enjoy vegetables that go well with the fish. The vegetables come from the institute in Wakayama

Prefecture. Some people come to this restaurant mainly to enjoy such vegetables. We can learn such vegetables from out of store or iPad established in counter. We order dishes, and then the farmed fish is served with the “graduation certificate” as “Kindai graduates”. We can get the information concerning the safety of the fish by using QR cord on this certificate: the shipping days, the bait the fish ate since its birth. A hall was crowded in many people. A hall was prepared e x p e r i e n c e c o u r s e o f c e r a m i c s . T h i s w a s established to touch actually c l a y t h e a t t e n d a n c e . Experience of ceramic art was used not a electrical

potter`s wheel but a manual potter`s wheel. This is a rest to turn a work which is able to create ceramic art. Because a manual potter`s wheel is more user-friendly than a electrical potter`s wheel, creator can make various works. Because a work never back without contracting, creator need to imagine a work contracting beforehand. Especially, because a vacuum bottle may leak water, creator need to observe thickness of vacuum bottle. It is difficult, but participators had made a work having each thought.

There are many works of ceramic art in the booth. Ceramic works has subject works and free works. They were judged by guest. It e n c o u r a g e C e r a m i c a r t club`s member. This time the most attract attention work is a Totem Pot. It was made by ceramic art club`s members for the first time. How to make Totem Pot? On August 25,the open campus was held. The

A lot of visitor could hardly wait to held the open campus before opening. V i s i t o r m e t a t November hall, after that o p e n i n g c e r e m o n y w a s started. Visitor was excited

at the Kinki University Brass Band ’s l i ght and bes ides roused performance. After that, visitors eyes rooted to power fu l per formance by the cheering party. Last, the Kinki University Brass Band played cheerful and excited performance, the opening ceremony was finished. A lot of visitor visited , the Kinki University’s main street was full. A tuna and amberjack tasting party caused guests
